In this story, Arale continues to travel with Goku for a little bit longer after encountering General Blue. With the Dr Slump robot's limitless power, could it be too much for even Goku to handle?
Goku and his newfound companion, Arale, embark on a quest to locate the mystical Dragon Balls...simply because the robot wanted to! Their journey is fraught with danger as they encounter the menacing Red Ribbon Army...and the likes of Captain Yellow...who is reduced to being a mere 'Kitty'! Having rescued Upa, the quest is on to seek the legendary Korin in the land of the same name. Then there's Mercenary Tao to consider...

I can only imagine two roads this new series will go (unless it’s a one off). First being Arale, whose essence is a gag character, will be a dominating force from oh Dragon Ball to the end of Super. Second being if Masako grounds Arale in a way so that she grows throughout the series. Either way, really excited how this is gonna go Masako!

If he goes the "grounded" route, there are many key points in the story where that could happen without sacrificing her gag strength. Krillin's death I can see being one where Arale wouldnt be able to do much to stop it and in DBZ if Masako wants to take some "april fools" liberties, she could make Vegeta and Nappa's pods land on penguim villange and...Nappa does what he did in canon. Arale would be fine, but everyone else in the village...yeah, I can see her having some issues to sort through, specially if Piccolo dies and they cant revive anyone. Tl;DR: Arale may have gag durability and strength...but everyone else she cares about surely doesn't, and can see her having an arc because of it.

Arale is already something, but can you imagine if Obotchaman got in on the action as well? He's *just* as strong as she is. Chichi would love him, though, since he's so polite and kind. She'd find him to be a great role model for Gohan. I have a feeling he'd go after Arale in any case, since he does have a crush on her and might (wrongly) believe Goku is trying to get closer to her.

Hey masako!! Your work is always amazing! I have a great scenario that I think your amazing story telling could make amazing. What if chi chi was a saiyan, but not a u7 saiyan, but a u6 saiyan? Ox king and his wife could have fled/went on a mission but were knocked off course and landed on earth. The story of her life could change/stay mostly the same up until gohan is born. He would be a hybrid, but still a pure saiyan. Would love to see your spin on this

Wow this sounds absolutely AMAZING! I haven't been this hyped for a What-If since "What if Nappa turned good?" (Im speaking in past tense since Babidi's is still going so it doesn't count for this). The endless possibilities here are amazing! Especially after remembering the amazing things you've done and were able to do with other April Fool What If's like "What if The Ginyu Force turned good?". I just have the feeling that whilst 19 and 20 being their own saga would be cool that this one just has far more potential and things that could be done with it!~ Though I'll admit im scared. Just like last year you've provided an interesting one. @Rikarikun Actually, I am aware that Dr. Slump has crossed over with DB multiple times and it does exist in the world of Dragon Ball. Still, it's like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon crossing over. If Masakox is willing to bring Arale into the Z Fighters, he might later do the same with Venom, Predator, or Kami knows who else.

And while this isn't exactly a secret nowadays, If you've seen Digimon tamers, the Ryo in tamers was actually previously a background character to the events of Digimon Adventure as a whole. Canonically, there's an unaccounted for segment of time during the final arc just before the fight with apocylamon where Ryo has an entire adventure, and while there's a bit of a continuity tangle, Ryo was also present for Our War Game as his adventure with Ken (the one where he took a near-literal bullet for him that did happen on screen in 02) kind of starts up RIGHT after that. Supplementary media taking place off to the side of the main thing, and then intersecting with it to improve both things in a meaningful way is always a treat to me.
