What makes Electro shot broken imo, compared to almost every other good charging moves, is also the fact that its 100% accurate. So even if you do spend the time charging and getting the boost, it wont just miss and waste 2 turns, or 1 and waste power herb.

Yeah, I don’t recall the exact reasoning behind not having complex bans other than just keeping things simple. But, I think they’re overall a lot healthier for balancing the metagame, even if it makes it slightly less welcoming to newcomers or more casual players.

Complex bans are hardly complex, and they make a lot of sense. For example, Gen 5 had to implement a lot of "complex" bans to get the weather metagame under control, and it was perfectly understandable why they had to be implemented. In fact, I'm not sure there's ever been a proposed ban that was "too complex" to implement.

Primordial Sea isn't removable by other weather setting abilities, so it would allow Arch to always do what it sets out to do. Drizzle shouldn't be bad though.
