even without transformations, Cell is broken, his growth speed is a mixture of Gohan and Freeza + all the other Z fighters. he has all the tecniques + regenration + he can absorb anyone partially or fully, gaining all their powers. I guess as a perfect being, he would want to overthrow Zenu, but he knows the power gap so he will not do anything funny for now, and the only person he knows who would have similar motives is that guy from DB Heroes who is not canon.

The 'Golden form' thing was pure bullshit. They should have given frieza a '5th' form like cooler(not canon) had. I would fit perfectly with Frieza's other transformations. Also Salad explained rather well why Cell WOULDN'T get such a form.

You know, Cell probably would be a decent candidate for God of Destruction (at least the Cell from this What if). Even in canon he was more of a Chaotic Neutral. After achieving perfection, he really just followed his whims (that happened to get lots of people hurt or killed). He was originally going to just blow up earth right after becoming perfect, but then decided “nah, tournament time”. He set up the Cell Games with certain rules, but then broke pretty much all of them himself. It’s not like Frieza (neutral evil), who inflicts widespread death and suffering in the name of establishing / maintaining his rule. In this what if, we see Cell after a mild beating with the “humble-stick”. He realizes that if he went back to his old tricks, the heroes would have no real difficulty ending him again, so he avoids those old habits without really abandoning them. He avoids outright evil actions and yet doesn’t really do good for the sake of good (on the RARE occasions he does good). He is really caught in the middle, yet always leaning towards being evil/a jerk. That’s pretty much every God of Destruction we’ve seen, right? All pretty much mirrored bytheir respective Supreme Kais (all want to do good, but are heavily restricted from actually doing anything). So yeah, this Cell would be a “good” candidate. The only problem would likely be him getting stir-crazy. He’s not like Beerus, who sleeps for decades. Cell is a being of action. So that’s one drawback I guess.

I do not think Cell would accept the title of God of Destruction, as many have pointed out. However I do think that he would try to learn Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego while training with Goku and Vegeta, since those are techniques and not natural transformations. Infact, I think Cell would mainly concentrate on gathering and learning more techniques. Edit: Also, something occurred to me, would Cell be able to do the Namekian fusion with Cell Jrs. to gain more power? They are the same species, and Namekians already reproduce in the same manner.
