There is great room for improvement with Chelsea. There is still room for another striker, finding a CB with some Gravitas and a reliable goal keeper. Bottom line we are still not converting a lot of opportunities which means our offense can be even more devastating and by shoring up our defense we can increase our almost non-existant clean sheets. By increasing Chelsea goal output and clean sheets in a season where goals are as important as points, Chelsea with a few tweaks can really improve their situation in comparison to the other teams.

Would advise to read michael coxs article on nytimes on how palmer has managed to dominate and be decisive in all areas of the pitch this season, winning games from different positions. Even in this game he provided a decisive dribble for the enzo goal, the bergkamp pass with the high boot for a one on one, the panenka penalty to seal the game and break the record for penalties in a row in prem history. He's unlike anything the prem has seen for a long long time, people will keep underplaying until it inevitably becomes impossible

The best way to deal with Arsenal's corners is: 1. The opposition need to m9ve out when they take the corner and leave the Arsenal players offside or; 2. The opposition need to form a 5 or 6 player block to stop the cavalry charge by Arsenal into the area. Arsenal's tactic at corners will be countered as more teams study their tactic.

The funny thing for Arsenal set pieces is that Harvertz and Rice are taller than all the defenders, but when Arsenal has to score from a corner it's a defender. Which means, this tactic to score goals, it's only defenders who are confortable with it, not the forwards.

arsenals best chance at the title was the 22/23 season, they fumbled it due to inexperience at the end. but liverpool & chelsea aren’t going to be that bad again anytime soon. last year was a good shout and good fight but ultimately the dying embers of the city dynasty were working OT. this season is genuinely the last chance imo for arsenal to win before it gets even more increasingly difficult. if chelsea upgrade over the summer and finish in either 2nd or 3rd this season the chance for them imo to win a title becomes much stronger. if liverpool retain salah and van djik (even if they lose trent, which don’t get me wrong is still a massive blow) and strengthen in the summer as well they could very well be in the same position next year. city will always be around top 4 and suddenly this two horse race arsenal were apart of has grown to 4 horses. this arsenal team as amazing as they are needs more. their defense is stacked but their attack leaves SOO much to be desired. and that is the difference between title contenders & winners and title pretenders. edit - this essay im crying 😭
