Actually, there's material in a female Vegeta story. Her personality might not change, but the fact that there is now a woman of his age in his group, Raditz would probably try to impress her by becoming stronger (to no avail). As a result, he is much more powerful when he comes to Earth, in such a way that even Goku and Piccolo are powerless to stop him. This basically turns into "What if Raditz won" with some unrequited attraction.

With the Chi-Chi What-if, it would probably be important to consider how Gohan's personality would be different if he was encouraged in martial arts by both parents. How would it affect the battle against Raditz if Gohan already had training under his belt? Would he stop training after Cell? How strong would he be when/if Buu came around? Would Hercule become world savior?

I agree. Additionally, if Chi Chi became a Saiyan early (or started as a Saiyan), I think the biggest changes would come from a sooner resolution (if she ever had it) that the best way to keep her family safe would be for them to be as strong as possible at all times (call it nightmare flashbacks of the Piccolo Daimao arc). She would still care about Gohan and Goten's educations, but she would have far fewer issues with Goku training with them (she likely even regularly joins them: she would want to keep her kids safe, too). As far as money, Goku can go win a tournament or take up bodyguard duty for Bulma and CC. Bulma and Chi Chi might come up with the concept of the Gravity Room earlier simply out of trying to get training done more efficiently or not wanting to deal with weighted clothing (not everyone has a Clothes-beam power).

I think the tail trait was explained to be recessive so trunks for example wasn't born with one. For that to work Both Goku and Chi-Chi would have had to of had the recessive tail gene for Gohan to have been born with a tail. It's possible there's somehow some saiyan blood in Chi-Chi for Gohan to have gotten a tail though. I guess another explaination would be that some humans have a similar gene to the tail gene in saiyans and Chi-Chi had it but if that was the case you'd probably see more random humans with tails walking round in crowds and such. it could be interesting to have seen what'd happen if a saiyan had arrived on earth say a hundred or two hundred years earlier. Long enough ago for people to forget but not so long ago that the gene could have become wide-spread. Though im not sure what the temperament of a saiyan that lived centuries before dragonball would be. Would they be a world destroyer or just a person who aggressively seeks out opponents to fight. That's an obvious big issue. You can't have this kind of story if it ends in earth's destruction of the wiping out of it's inhabitants. From what i understand though while saiyans are predisposed to fighting they aren't beasts incapable of thought or progress. Maybe Chi-Chi's desire to see Gohan become a scholar rather than a fighter could be rooted in the tale of a warrior-scholar who used their otherworldly power to turn the tide in some conflict they became embroiled in but who ultimately preferred the scroll over the fist. If lore allows it perhaps they chose to seclude themselves on a remote world to get some relative peace and quiet and contemplate their chosen field of study uninterrupted. If the existing lore does not allow for space travel then perhaps they were more of a spiritual warrior seeking the focus and clarity of mind training the body and facing challenges brings and somehow got hold of something like instant transmission and while they like any other saiyan enjoyed a challenge felt their scholarly task or their pursuit of higher knowledge was was more important than doing something just because they enjoyed it and so opted to stay out of the conflicts of the day. Perhaps they could have had an interest in history. The universe surely had a line of great martial artists or spiritual leaders and perhaps their journey to earth happened to allow them to both learn of its history as well as to write a book on what they'd already learned but joined in on some sort of conflict when it became too great a threat or too enticing a battle to ignore and perhaps learned of this with the help of a native they had met. I have to admit i'm a fairly casual fan so there are going to be holes in the backstory i just put together but i do want to try to put across that a historical story involving a scholar-warrior saiyan could potentially be interesting and could help explain how the recessive tail trait got mixed in on earth.

A few what if's that I had came to mind 1) What if Goku was trained by the Crane School? 2) What if Goku was raised by the Ox King? 3) What if Frost and Frieza swapped places? (that is to say, not either one of them is good..........but that Bardock had to deal with Frost rather than Frieza. How would Bardock, Vegeta and the likes be different with dealing someone as schemey as Frost.........and how would Cabba, Kale, and Caulifa be if they had to deal with Frieza instead?)

Just throwing it out there. Battle of gods happened in age 778, and it's mentioned that he was asleep for 39 years. Which means that he went to sleep in age 739. Two years after Goku arrived on earth. Given just how far Beerus's planet is from Earth maybe the Pod took two years to get there. and landed just as Beerus was having his vision about ssg. A Saiyan arriving at that time might be enough to make it go from idle curiosity, to something more interesting.

@@cameronheaton9900 No, he didn't actually. With Frieza, he said it was too difficult to come up with a plausible sequence of events to justify it at the time. With these, though, he just isn't sure if the results would be different enough from other series to justify working on them, as opposed to working on more parts to existing series. Especially considering other KZbinrs have covered 90% of these in great detail (ex. Salad Saiyan & Carthu's Dojo).

In what if Raditz was on Earth with Goku, all you really need to do is put Earth on the list of planets invaded by the Frieza force. Que a weakling coming and being easily stopped and stronger opponents start coming until, eventually, Frieza shows up.

Plus side: It'd be SUPER EASY for Chichi to 'become' Saiyan. Chimerism during pregnancy could have her become partially Saiyan while preggers with Gohan and even moreso when preggers with Goten.

I feel that Chichi being a saiyan or training like Goku would change things greatly. If she let up on pushing Gohan to be a scholar and not babying him he would have most likely continued training and been an unstoppable force. I wish this would have happened. mainstream Gohan being more like future Gohan.

here is what i would do for Gohan: 1 make a wish on Shenron that the Room of spirit and time would have no aging effect on any Z fighter, 2 go about your day studying like normal, 3 go into the Room of spirit for a few hours every day with goku, 4 learn instant transmission

Two of the what ifs I thought about was this : "What if Android 16 rose up during the Goku Black arc ?" or "What if 16 was rebuild ?" The first one could go like this : 16's capsule was spared from 17 and 18's destruction of Gero's lab and the android was being updated for many years, much like how Mega Man X was being build and tested. The second one could have his CPU chip (the one seen after Cell crushes his head) being spared from the whole fight and could have been found by the Dragon team or a third party. I don't know if these suggestions were proposed before as I don't have time to watch streams unfortunately, but some love for 16 is always welcome.

Now I'm thinking...what if Goku was raised by the Galactic Patrol? What if Jaco got to intercept Goku's pod and Meerus insisted on raising the boy himself? A Saiyan would be GREAT for the patrol. I also need more Goku and Meerus bonding after.....current events.

Goku growing up on Namek with a diet of the few food types he could subsist on would be interesting, if only because he'd likely have a much leaner frame due to the limited menu, and probably having his Saiyan diet reigned in by the elders

Also he could’ve done where right after the 23rd tenkaichi budokai he could’ve done a scenario where the year after Gohan was born she would wish to become a saiyan then so that way Gohan would live in an environment of martial artists so he would train a lot more so that way Gohan would still be a half saiyan and an intresting dynamic would be that goten would be a full saiyan

Chichi's mother escaping planet vegeta a few years before it's destruction and marrying the ox king is the most logical for her to be a hybrid, everything is pretty much the same until Goku meets chichi for the first time.
