I’ve done something like this myself and here are some ideas that worked well for me: 1. Add Capitals - It makes Wars more exiting 2. Name the countries - Just more fun 3. I also had Mayor cities marked which alse made Wars more exiting and borders made more sense 4. Not every civ has to start in the same place - make some American, african or Australian civs 5. Maybe add religions - they Make relations between countries more dynamic And if you compare your World to real World expantion it is probrobly around -200 bce

SUGGESTION: If you make a new layer on top of the old one, you can write names for the nations without it messing up with the recolor tool. You could set a transparent sattelite map over the current one if you wanted (just make sure it's the same projection). You could also add rivers, mountains, capitals, whatever you want, and you could just use hide that layer at any time. You could also copy the map to another layer and make a culture map, or alliance map, or something like that.

Idea: Very minor idea, but you should color in little black dots to showcase where the capital of each country is. You could also name each capital, discuss government and ideologies of each place, but mainly I think it would be cool for you to show where capital cities are.

My theory for years The first episode takes place from 1900 BCE to 1500 BCE This Is Called The Dawn Age As this is when this first civilisations are formed The Second Episode is from 1500 BCE to 800 BCE this is called the Age of Awakening As many new nations would be formed The third episode is from 800BCE to 500 BCE this is called the Age Of Discovery As many new lands were discovered and conquered This episode takes place from 500 BCE to 200 BCE This is called the Age Of Diversity As many new nations were founded. The fifth episode will probably take place from 200 BCE to 0 AD This will probable be called The Age Of The Falter As The Red Team Will Maybe Collapse This Episode

Hey Adizz, I have an idea. The idea is basically a country that is pretty much Poland. It keeps on getting taken over but always manages to find itself as a nation again and again. Or, on the other hand, a bit more like Afghanistan, where no matter who tries to take it over, nobody ever seems to be successful and is pretty much just a pain for everyone who tries. A few funny little ideas I had. Love this series so far!

Great Video as always! Just one thing I noticed, I see you saying that countries' Expansion is cut off, but borders didnt *really* exist back in medieval times, you could mostly cross borders, unlike the modern day. Also, Technology wasnt really expanding until the early modern era with Muskets, so countries being more 'technologically advanced' doesnt really change much, especially in ancient/medieval times. Another thing, maybe you should consider making an allaince map

Lore for Denmark/Dark Brown country. The country starts to explore Britain and eastern Ireland, then they get curious and start to head upwards for more access and find the Faroe islands and they head westward for expansion with a great amount of people. They completely forget about there government back in Denmark. and it collapses and a new country is formed where they are all about European expansion and their people. While Dark Brown keeps exploring, they find Iceland. When they find Iceland, they keep on exploring and head west. Eventually they get the news that their economy collapses in Denmark, and they don't really seen to care and let them expand. They find what they think is a continent but, turns out to be Greenland. They decide to stop and take a break on exploration and start focusing on government, economy, civilians, and city expansion. This is just a little idea for you don't have to go with this this is justa small idea for you enjoy the rest of your day. (:

Also I think if u have a nation just come In like South Africa or Eastern Asia and there pretty much cutoff until they think that they are the only people on Earth. As the guy who gave you the idea for this series I believe I should be able to make a suggestion.. How about you make a culture map or something.. Like red and blue were from the same country so besides the north and south stuff they are the same.. Aswell as the yellow nations.. Also the green nations and all of that... You could also use that to start conflicts like maybe one country wants to unite their culture... If not that I suggest adding another balkan nation that is sort of a serbia.. because serbia best country (also If you could just credit me for the idea.. or maybe you just got it from another person which in that case I am very stupid😅)
