This story isn't for me, but I'm glad to see others like it. The quirk they gave Izuku sounds cool, no pun intended. . I'm not a fan of the type of stories that have important things that happened not long before they start only to no show them but hint at them. It they are important show them. If not then why bother talking about them. To me it just screams I don't know what happened but something did.

I see your point and don't get me wrong...but that's called suspense. Almost every type of media uses it and since they did end up covering it eventually it kinda just sounds like you're a little impatient for the pay off. Though this story doesn't handle the reveal as good as others if you'd like a perfect example in a fic then look up "Become the Sun" on ao3. Probably the best payoff in any fic I've ever read even though it's been abandoned.

This feels like they are talking about something we as readers/listeners should have already been told about. I'm glad they finally cleared it up for those who stuck it out, but like food I don't like; I don't keep going when I know I don't like it. Thanks for the recommendation BTW, I will look into it.
