I personally thought it was a missed opportunity that the sequel didn't go in this direction. I don't mean make Elsa the villain, but what if Elsa was confronted by someone who's just like her, but never had or lost their younger sibling. A dark reflection of what Elsa could've become had she given into despair: a cold, unstoppable, merciless killing machine.

An older brother with fire magic, a younger brother with plant magic, twin sisters with wind magic, and the father patriarch with all kinds of magic. They would send the older brother to search and bring home their long lost child and explain how and why they got separated. Elsa, while cautious at first, would be willing to visit their kingdom with a little push from Anna, who’s only doing this for Elsa’s sake and is secretly anxious about them not being sisters. They all seem nice at first and get Elsa’s trust while Anna is more worried and suspicious. The father insists that Elsa stay and Elsa is conflicted, eventually leading to a fight with Anna. The Father eventually reveals he’s evil and has villain plans that requires Elsa’s magic. Once Anna and Elsa make up, the stop the Father and any of the siblings that side with him. Those that don’t end up being part of Anna and Elsa’s family. Could’ve shown that it’s not who your born from that’s family, but rather who cares about and grows up with you.

I think that Square Enix had the original plans of Frozen on their mind, when they were making Kingdom Hearts 3, but -- halfway through production of the game -- the film changed gears, and Elsa was no longer the villain. Which is why the game looks odd in the Frozen level. The programmers had to change everything in an odd way, because they weren't told in advance that the film was changing direction.

Doubt it. Frozen was released in 2013, the KH3 began development that same year. Square Enix had 6 years to change the narrative, it was most likely Disney having near total control of that part because how popular Frozen was.

I came up with my own rough idea for a different version of the film: -Taking out the song “Fixxer Upper”, -the film Frozen renamed The Snow Queen, -No Hans being in the film and instead having Elsa be her own enemy like Jekyll and Hyde and near half way through the film she actually loses control and her darkness takes over that her parents helped her to keep under control and both of them are still alive and she does become queen in the film and Elsa’s dark half returns not seen since her childhood when she nearly hurt Anna only to become overwhelmed and it starts to take over and she does the best she can to keep it under control, but is unable to and Anna goes after her when her parents tell her the truth and her mother goes with her, and you see Elsa do the best she can to fight against her and there is a lot of scenes without any dialogue and you see her struggle and the more powerful the Snow Queen becomes the weaker Elsa is and when her heart becomes completely frozen over Elsa will no longer exist, there were fewer songs, and the comedy was there just not as much and it knew when to not be there and there was even a scene where Elsa actually was considering suicide by falling onto an ice spike because she realizes it might be the only way to destroy her dark side, but nothing is said and all done through visuals, also to make it darker have Don Bluth and Gary Goldman to come aboard the project, What do you think?

To me, she's always been the first princes, I could ever relate to, because I also have anxiety (& many other problems) & a very similar personality. I mean, we know she was locked away for years & fears her own powers & hurting others, especially Anna, after what happened - and has to be queen. Her Let It Go moment, when she is free & just herself for once was truly something....very important & encouraging, younger me (& me now) really had to see & hear. And seeing her grow into a confident woman in Frozen 2, who fully embraces who she is, inspired me & made me love her only more. That if "someone out there who's a little bit like me" can have a happy ending, there might be hope for (people like) me too. I just wanna say, I know not everybody likes Elsa & might have prefered her as villain. But she's really not that hard to understand & I am glad we got the Elsa we know. But that's just my opinion. And I've always seen the Elsa villain thing to be an interesting concept, because of Elsa's voice actor playing the role of Elphaba in Wicked. Elsa and Elphaba to me kind of parellel each other in a few ways.

I have always wondered what Frozen would look like of Disney had kept the story more faithful to Hans Christian Anderson’s The Snow Queen. Elsa could still be an antagonist who did bad things like invade a town and kidnap a young boy, but perhaps she was being controlled by other darker forces and just wanted a way out and thought that this young boy (Kai in The Snow Queen) might be the key to her independence. Also, it would totally subvert the Disney trope to have Anna/Gerda travel so far and have so many adventures to save the boy instead of the other way around. Once Anna/Gerda saves Kai and defeats Elsa, they could go home, and Elsa could live her life her way and finally feel at peace. That’s just my thoughts. I’m not saying that Frozen is bad, I am just wondering why Disney decided to go a route different than the one laid out by Hans Christian Andersen.

Though I enjoyed the original version of Frozen, I kinda wish they would add a more complex and interesting villain like they planned to do with Elsa. I feel like I would have liked to see Elsa as the villain just because if feel like it would have been interesting. They could have made it as Elsa used to be in arendelle but as everyone mistreated her telling her how she was a witch she decided to become what everyone feared since she feared the people from Arendelle. She especially didn't like the king and queen sense they banished her from arendelle using the magic from the rock ummm...things from the movie (I forgot their names 😭) and she could have said that one day shell becomes the new queen as she is meant to rule over these people. She leaves and that's when Anna comes into view as her parents die from a tragic outcome. The magic also dies with them that's when the queen appears the queen and anna could discuss the issues and the queen tells her 'fine then if you love this kingdom so much proof to me by showing me if these people are as good as you say " and anna starts to show the ice queen around the town letting her in do observe. And the queen and anna start to grow a trust as anna gets to know a little more about the ice queen. But they gets betrayed when the prince something something I forgot his name. Makes the whole kingdom against the Queen causing her go get mad as she then freezes Arendelle. And with that anna has to go the the queens castle to convince her to get rid of the curse the queen of ice doesn't listen to her and that's when she freezes her heart. And the prince goes into the castle to go and kill her but decides to take her back to Arendelle. And with anna struggling to survive and the Queen escapes and the prince dude trying to kill her that's when anna could intervene and that's what opens the queen of ices heart as she lifts the curse and asks anna "why we're you willing to sacrifice your life to me? " and anna could be like 'because you don't deserve to be mistreated by anyone nobody doesn't deserve it doesn't matter how different you are I accept you for you and I forgive you for everything you have done. And that what makes the ice queen break down into tears as anna hugs her comforting her as everyone has a happily ever after. Which that shows a valuable lesson that people aren't mean they have a reason and that is never to late to change. In my opinion that could of been nice to me.
