What if every Cat Shine DOUBLES Mario's speed in Bowser's Fury? [Super Mario 3D World Bowser's Fury]

Today we push the limits of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury modding by doubling Mario's speed every time Mario collects a cat shine, making possibly the world's fastest Mario! We play the Bowser's Fury part of the new Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury on the Nintendo Switch, and we start at the beginning of the game at Furstep Island, where Mario starts with double speed! After collecting the first Cat Shine, Mario has 4 times regular speed! Every time Mario collects a Cat Shine, his speed is doubled again, and we try to collect as many cat shines as we can in one hour of gameplay, cut down into to this video! This is a great Mario meme and there are many funny Mario gameplay moments in this video with a much faster Mario :D

In 3D World, when you get a Super Star and run down more than eight enemies, the chain restarts from 200 once you get a 1UP instead of just giving you more 1UPs. This is reflected in the combo sound effects pretending it's the first enemy again. For some reason, Bowser's Fury retains the combo SFX even though they serve no purpose anymore, _and_ it retains the star idiosyncrasy. Also, in 3D World, some levels have points pop up in certain cases (1000 for each powerup in Toad houses; 4000 for the stamp in stamp houses; and the points you get for kicking the golden shell in the "we interrupt 3D World to bring you New Soup 2" level) even while the score itself isn't displayed, which means that it's not tied to the score itself existing. There's also the thing where certain standard enemies like Chargin' Chucks and Fire Bros. give you 400 or 1000 points instead of 200, and chaining into one shows that it works by taking the regular chain score of 200-400-800-1000-2000-4000-8000-1UP and advancing it by one or three steps when the enemy is a special type. Which brings me to some questions (totally unrelated to this particular video) that may or may not be realistic to answer yet: do the enemies seen in Bowser's Fury have point values defined (even if they're just copies of those seen in 3D World)? What about Cat Shines and shards?
