Going to say this now. Mario party 1. The items in question are always random. They have special dice, which you can purchase in the shop. Active them, and they randomly appear on the maps. So, yes, Mario party in a sense, has random items.

got a Mario Party video idea: every number on the dice block is given an emotion/feeling or something like it, whatever a person rolls, they have to display the emotion the number was given for example: let's say 8 was given toxicity/anger if a player rolls an 8, they have to be toxic their entire turn if 1 was given happiness and a player rolls a 1, they have to be happy for their entire turn minigames can probably be a safe zone where the players can just be themselves

This is an interesting concept but there is one thing you should have done. Rather then just random item; you should still choice to buy if you want. Get to the store, you either leave then and there, or get the random item. This way you are not just wasting coins. And customs are not that crazy over powered. They are really good, but I think triples have a chance to be wildly better. Because triples can lead into two stars in one turn; and is repeatable depending on the map. Customs are just able to make plays happen... But those plays may not pan out. Force happenings or chance time, but you still gotta be good at chance time to make real value of it, other wise you could just be risking. Triples are the best; non pipe item.
