What if Every Pokemon Region had FOUR Starters? - 2nd Stages

Today I've challenged myself to create a fourth starter for Kanto, all the way to Sinnoh. This is one of the first time I actually made second stages for my fakemon so I hope you like it! #fakemon

Midaterium looks too close to his former evolution in my opinion. It's still relatively the same size and shape, and I personally believe that playing more onto the icy elements or the claws size would be nice, as it kind of looks like his previous evolution with a rad haircut currently ^^

If I was to critique your designs, it feels like you're a bit too afraid to branch out from the base forms, which makes the second forms a bit too similar to their previous stages. The only one that changed significantly was the snake, and it's mostly because of the addition of the arms. Don't be afraid to play more with the designs and I can tell you'll be able to achieve great things, good luck! ♥️

Yeah I totally understand your point. The issue is that I don’t really know where the final evolutions will go, so I want to leave them open to be the crazy change in the lines! Plus this is for sure the first time I’m making proper fakemon lines, so it’s all new as well! 😅❤️

The gen 1 extra starter looks the most believable imo, the only criticism I have is the proportions, like how the claws on the hands don’t look quite right, other than that though it’s great! Keep up the good work!

like what one comment said, midaterium looks a bit too similar to its previous stage, but middle stages admittedly are the hardest to draw. for the future ones, i'd suggest drawing out sketches for the final stages first so you can come up with a concept for the middle stage easier, or maybe changing the colors a bit. i do think they're super neat nonetheless! also, may i suggest the name psiimian for the final evolution for the monkey? (psi + simian) i just think it sounds a bit cool!

Design wise I would have done first stage than 3rd stage than 2nd stage, but in order to keep the videos in the right order I decided to just make the second stages first! I might try the other method whenever I have the time to do so! ❤️

The first stage of your 1gen pkmn should maybe just have really small tail to make it more different to your 2. stage

I need help knowing if this pokemon would work for a grass starter poter, he is a sentient plant pot with vine arms/legs, my idea on how he acts is that he is a protective character and would protect both his team and any plants the can't help itself, I also need help with figuring out his evolution if he does work

It could work but it would be difficult to pull off, because usually starters are quite mobile and not stationed in a pot!

@@HappyGamerNick I designed the region to be robotic thank to the legendary that turned macrons steampunk area into a robotic land, which if you have a pokemon when you go to macron they turn into robots and when you leave you're pokemon turn to normal if they weren't already a robot
