I didn’t realize just how much you can hear the choreography in the fight. It’s literally just Dbz fighting sound but you can hear the whole fight. Yamcha using wolf fang fist,(accompanied by the obligatory wolf sound) him actually fighting the simulation enemies as well as other people. It’s amazing and I’d pay lots for this to be official.

@@zermanman9891 yeah, even the Ginyu Tokusentai definitely had their work cut out with him given how easily they were dealt with on Kai's planet. I mean yeah he had help from Chiaozu and Tenshinhan but given their power levels were around 20,000 in Guildo's case and Jeice being the number 2 man on the team behind Ginyu I'd say his power level at most was about 60/70,000 tops. Meaning Yamcha at best here would be about 80,000. Very few would pose him actual trouble; any that would prove to be, would have to deal with Frieza.

I'm sooooo into this that I wish it was in manga form. On a side not, this is a great way to write a "Superman" story. Freeza is so overpowered that most of the "threats" would normally be handled in a flash, but finding ways to depower him, make his power irrelevant or focusing on the character development all the while making it believable and not contrived or forced is good story writing for this type of tale. Good on you all, MasakoX team. You made me actually invested in Freeza as a good character.

I think I understand why Cooler's experiment designation is "CO2", which has been brought up in episode 2 in this series. It's supposed to stand for "Cold 2.0", which is meant to hint at the fact that King Cold created Cooler to be almost exactly like him, hence why there is a 2 in "CO2" instead of it just being written as "CO". There's also the fact there isn't a 2 in "TR" or "FR", which are Trojan and Frieza's experiment designations respectively. It's only Cooler's that has this unique trait.

Three weeks, you say? Honestly, came here hoping for news on the second season, thank you for telling us the release date! Haven't been genuinely interested in anything pertaining to Dragon Ball other than Abridged and your What If stories, _especially_ the Frieza saga, so... yeah, very much looking forward to seeing more of the motley crew. Frieza's actually a truly enjoyable character, Cheelai's a lot of fun and just adorable, the other Greenskin's a great character (I know his name's Cuit, but the temptation was too strong) and you even made Yamcha a truly lovable character. Here's hoping it'll be just as enjoyable as the first, but considering how Abridged only got better as it progressed and the same can be said of this series, it's kind of a given.

The only flaw is that I feel like Frieza would absolutely flex that the destruction of the ship is fatal to everyone else aboard, and a minor annoyance to him, or else would forget about it and have to be reminded that the ship's fate is actually important to everyone else. "Why are you all so upset, if the ship blows up we just call Space Triple A to file a report, space swim over to the side of the road and tele--, oh, right, you can't breathe in space, got it."

First time listening the season and HOLY MOLY this is absolute BRILLIANCE! I love that this takes a route of different, like sci-fi adventure rather than constant fighting for dominance that is the usual Dragon Ball route in the series. I am not ashamed to say that this actually got me into Dragon Ball, though its not THE first introduction to it, I am absolutely in love of the talented creators and story tellers who are brave to explore things outside of the norm. Going to right away hop onto the second season. Cannot wait to see where the story goes from now!

When Frieza made the choice to "Evaporate" the planet, and his reason for doing so, is a good example why he'd make for a good God Of Destruction, at least, this version of him anyways. Not his original counterpart. He knows his limitations, and he knows the consequences of his options and his actions and even though it weighs heavily upon his heart, he did what needed to be done to minimize the loss of life on a far larger scale. He chose the lesser of 3 evils. He's able to see the bigger picture.

I love this. What's amazing is that in this series of events, actions have verifiable consequences. Goku would have probably tried moving the whole planet, and die failing. Vegeta would have probably blown up the comet, and getting everyone killed including himself. This decision had consequences no matter which way you split it and unfortunately, the lesser of 3 evils was still something thats hard to stomach. The problem with some of the campy animes is that they have a simplistic story: enter bad guy, good guys fights bad guy, good guy wins, hurray. This was more nuanced, complicated, and more... believable story. Made it that much better.
