Interesting what if. Here's my prediction for what happens. Goku gives Frieza energy, Frieza is moved by Goku's kindness and mercy, and helps him get to his ship, and are able to escape planet Namek, Frieza bringing all his severed limbs with him. Frieza then puts himself in a healing chamber with his limbs to regenerate to full strength. They chart a course for Earth, and Frieza thanks Goku for sparing him, and Goku's influence starts changing Frieza, and the two even train a bit. When they arrive on earth maybe a week later, everyone is surprised to see Goku with Frieza. Goku reassures everyone, and Frieza takes his leave to go back to King Cold, promising Goku that he would fix his empire, and that if Goku ever needs help, to call him with some space tech he gives them. Here's where things get tricky. Frieza might stay on Earth to train until he can defeat King Cold, and or Cooler if he's in this timeline. But I'm going to say, the end result is the same, with the galactic empire either being reformed or disbanded. After this, Frieza pays a visit to Earth to see the Z fighter's training, and they tell him about the androids, and Frieza decides to train with them. Seeing how strong Frieza got after a few months of training, he would push Goku to adapt and get stronger at the same pace with his saiyan biology. After training for three years, Frieza, and probably Goku as well are far stronger than Buu, and nothing can get in their way. Frieza might leave to go back to space after this. You would have to skip over to when Beerus arrives, and Goku would probably pose a pretty great challenge to him. Maybe he gets ssj god, maybe not. Things go back to normal mostly after this. Really I don't think this what if can progress very well, unless you nerf Frieza's four months of training to go from star buster to multiverse buster.

I think that, because Frieza got amnesia at a later point in his life than Goku did, certain things would trigger his memories to return. This could present a story where Frieza could revert back to his old ways, reform into a proper ruler like his father (albeit, with more good in him than Cold), or continue on his new path of being a fighter for good; depending on what order his memories would return.

I've looked at the polls and let's just say I also voted with the majority. but I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility of an alternate what if made in the future that explores the other possibilities if you're so inclined. Certainly work on the one your fans have voted for first, but I'd be lying if I said good Freezer being met with a more negative reaction isn't at least an interesting concept as well. In any case keep up the awesome work and I look forward to seeing how this plays out in subsequent parts :). Oh man, imagine King Cold's reaction if he ever does find Earth and he sees what's happened to his son. That reaction though! I can't wait lol.

Freiza can become a good guy, it just becomes difficult when you try to figure how, why and what that even is. Anyways withouth even thinking about it I can assure you he can grow his being if thats what good is. The way this would happen is if Freiza comes across something that alters his perspective, or if he realizes the fruitlessness of his efforts after having been steadfast in his behaviors for hundreds upon thousands of years or perhaps he learns from his ancesters mistakes. Perhaps goku beats Freiza the planet blows up, Freiza is found by some other race of scavengers and is reassembled into a weaker metallic form. He is still stronger than the scavangers but when he subjugate them way off into some vast unknown reach of space as they had discovered an advanced form of apace travel, being the nomads their entire life is based around, he comes to learn of their very passive nature. At first Freiza considers this to be a weakness as he has subjugated them, but they don't respond with fear of Freiza and in fact are more than willing to die if Freiza oversteps his bounds. What Freiza realizes about this race of people is that they are 100% logical people and they many times end up correcting and challenging the views and behaviors and fundamental logic of Freiza. Of course this will anger Freiza but they insist that this is there people and how they have survived for so long. It becomes quickly apparent to Freiza that they are because of this immune to subjugation. At times it never feels like Freiza is the ruler and that he is merely a figure head appointed as such as they show no fear of Freiza or even the possibility of such and do not mourn death. Confused by these creatures Freiza has two options, destroy them and find a new people and or leave them behing, or continue to use them as they are very efficient. If Freiza destroys them it will way on his conscious more than any other death of a species he has caused. He will come to regret it tremendously, and fall into bouts of deep depression not fully understanding why, even as he continues to expand his fledgling empire once more. Soon Freiza forgets about them and continues on using many of their methods and logic still, which means he treats those he subjugate better and that it is better to have a strong people rather than weak, all supported around a common goal that they have all accepted. Freiza in honor of those people he has come to realize he respected immensely and the effectiveness of their ways, even forgoes torturing and death as he has discovered methods of conquering and invasion that reduce them to non existent levels, while also still being able to revel in the thrill of combat. Having built his army back up he reunites with his father and returns to earth to confront Goku reliving the days of his youthful mind and how it pals in comparison to his newfound perspective. Freiza arrives at earth and is met by trunks. Much more strategic, they park the ship outside the orbit of the moon and send smaller vessels to the planet. Trunks plans to fight but Freiza ensures him that he has no intention of fighting. Nevertheless, trunks has no plans on being deceived understanding the capabilities of the ship and potential orbital bombardment. King Cold however is in his full power form from the beginning, having transformed near the moon causing the others to sense his power level. King Cold much stronger than his son was on namek, thwarts Ssj Trunks, and Trunks realizes a lack of an intent to kill. King Cold confesses that he is proud of sons growth and that they really arent there to fight that they have more or less changed their ways and wanted to show that by setting up some form of trade agreement with earth perhaps some form of alliance. To let by gones be by gones. King Cold: 250 Million Mecha Freiza: 3 Million Ssj Trunks: 135 Million Many of the z fighters dont want to but then Goku arrives and immediately goes ssj, to avoid potentially being blitzed. Ssj Goku: 200 Million Goku hears them out and learns of what Freiza has been through and surprised by his change though still an invader of worlds he only combats warriors and will kill any of his soldiers that harm non combatants in any capacity. He says everything has its time and place and that whatever place it is will have the least amount of negative back lash. Goku asks why has he changed why not go around doing what he normally does wouldn't it be easier. Freiza admits that it would, but that he has several reasons. Such a force isnt long standing or truly functional and is doomed to fail. Freiza would have to live in a constant state of fear and emotional instability. He says that he has grown out of that and can never return. And he says there is no respect to be had in such an existence, fumbling around like an aimless child with a gun. He asks for goku to think of him as the advesary, the kind of being that is their to challenge life so that it may evolve, within reason of course. With that Goku agrees to the surprise of the others and Freiza leaves bidding them farewell.

King Cold arrives on earth months after Goku and Freezer arrive, trying to convince Frieza to join him, it doesn't work, and King Cold is almost killed by a much stronger group of Z-fighters (they'd probably train to get stronger just in case Frieza goes bad again) This leads to Cooler finding out about the whole thing, now originally Cooler was infuriated with Frieza for failing their clan, but I believe the news that he betrayed his family would anger him even further, but Cooler is no fool like Frieza, we've seen he can control his temper far better, so Cooler decides he will take this time to train especially after hearing a report on both Goku and Frieza's power level while this is going on the events of the Android saga happen, and just as Cell makes his appearance, Cooler now even stronger is making his way to earth, now the Z-fighters are up against 2 terrifying threats with no Goku to help fight either of them at the moment (Goku still gets sick sadly) then it gets worse when Cooler & Cell cross paths, at first the 2 clash but after seeing how even they are (even though Cooler hasn't transformed yet) and realizing they have common goals (kill Goku) they join forces, with Cooler now more focused on killing Frieza, and Cell having a powerful like minded Ally willing to help him reach his perfect (or at least his semi perfect form)

Okay. You did the near impossible. You made an actually plausible way for Frieza to turn good. And as for Freezer being too strong or overpowering everyone, he isn't much stronger than he was on Namek. Plus, all the power he had on Namek he was simply born with. He hadn't trained a day in his life. I'd imagine he'd probably stay just on par with Goku and the other Saiyans if he keeps up with his training. Cell and Buu were WAY stronger than Frieza, and Goku's already many times stronger than Frieza, so I don't think we have to worry much there. King Kai's probably having several Heart Attacks seeing what he's seeing, though. I'd also love to see what the Frieza Force turns into. Maybe the Freezer Foundation? Freezer's Friends? Intergalactic Alliance For Good? I dunno. He'd likely do something. He might even train to become a better and more effective GoD than Beerus. He wouldn't be so petty as Beerus, nor as lazy.

I’m always down for continuing fun videos like this. I am curious what Frieza amnesia would be like. He has seemed bad at his earliest of days so maybe still bad or troublesome? I don’t think bumping his head would be enough for amnesia at this time (ignorable) but maybe if his literal brain was destroyed before being rebuilt if we were more canonically scientific? Like mechanic frieze but head damage was visible before he was rebuilt? Fun theory though. Also since King Cold is canon what about him? I doubt he would take friezas “betrayal” lightly.

I think Freiza should be rejected by the Z Fighters and take 3 years to slowly earn their trust and forgiveness and prove he's not the same being that they fought on Namek. The final act that would cement his change of heart to them would be doing the one thing the old Frieza would never do: sacrifice his life. Frieza uses Instant Transmission to take Cell into the middle of space where his explosion will not kill anybody but the two of them. Which just makes Super Perfect Cell happening even more tragic. But that's just my two cents. Also United States of Smash would go perfect with the sacrifice scene.

The way that this set up is interesting since you could have done something similar to Ubb. I do think that Vegeta and maybe Trunks goes on the attack. Also even if say he would off balance everything I think Cell would be smart and try to play the smart game aka he would also keep absorbing ki heck he might absorb 16. The problem would come at the Buu saga. Again this can go in a lot of interesting paths. Please do part 2
