Masako, a dumb yet interesting idea for you. Instead of there being no future man to warn the team, our Legendary Super Saiyan Gohan was the future man? To clarify a bit, I mean that throughout this entire time, we see the future where the androids won(at least at first), and Bulma managed to figure out time travel. Not wanting this tragedy of losing his father and Piccolo to happen in the first place, he might volunteer to go back into the past and warn everyone about the androids, and the heart virus. He also might stick a bit longer to tell Goku or his past self that their training to contain his anger was actually very bad and that in order to control his anger, he must be allowed to let it out. Just an interesting twist I've thought of, as this idea might be a first for a What If. Where we were going down the 'ruined' timeline stead of the timeline where things are more positive. Aka we went down the "Trunks" timeline instead of the "Normal" timeline.

You know what's scary? If this goes into the Buu Saga, there is no way that Babidi isn't going to be able to be able to turn Gohan into a Maijin. If that somehow doesn't happen, how will his legendary power interact with the Ultimate power up? Will that 'cure' his rage and control issues without neutering his power? How obscenely powerful would that make him?

I've never been entirely clear if susceptibility to Babidi's control was down to mental fortitude, moral alignment, or emotional vulnerability, since any of those could apply to someone like Vegeta in the Buu Saga, who is the only person we know of in Canon as a person pre-brainwashing. For Gohan, obviously, resiliency and morality aren't factors, but having a Hulk-like deep well of rage seemed like a major liability if emotions played into it at all.

@@ProcyonDei not necessarily. One of the big reasons he came to earth when he did was that there were super strong warriors to get energy from. The androids aren’t any good for powering up Buu and everyone else of any notable power is on yardrat. So they’re likely kicking around somewhere else trying to scrounge up power before coming to earth. Who knows? Maybe they’ll be able to take advantage of the nascent Cell. He won’t have the androids to absorb but I feel like between Babidi’s magic and possibly drinking Dabura, he could potentially still end up being a major player. Babidi could even turn Imperfect Cell into a living energy collector for Buu and just turn him loose on Earth to do the job for him. He’s perfectly suited for such a task, especially if he’s under Babidi’s Maijin mind control. It’d be child’s play for Babidi to keep spiriting Cell away from the Dragon Team to avoid any early confrontations before he was topped off, running everyone ragged until they’re ready to be picked off. Ooh. I just thought of something. What if Cell managed to co-opt Buu’s power, becoming a twisted version of his Perfect form, but merged with Buu. That could be an adversary worthy of Ultimate Legendary Berserk Gohan…

I really enjoy how this rage manifested into a self-controlled being (not Gohan, the rational, controlling it, but the rage personality itself is in control), instead of an uncontrolled, unrelenting Broly character. More akin to late-Avengers film Hulk (not Professor Hulk, like, Thor 3's Hulk). Where I'd like to see this go is with Gohan and the Hulksonality working in tandem (again, not necessarily like Professor Hulk, but more so as they are two people working together) to help rebuild the world, and make the world stronger and more capable of defending itself through martial arts/ki AND technology. Earthlings become stronger and smarter, bringing civilization up to a Type I to Type II Kardashev civilization.

What I think happened as Gohan turned into and really became the Legendary Super Saiyan, was the primal Saiyan within him coming to the forefront and putting the rational humanity to the backburner. As think about it all the time that Gohan tries to think things through, be rational...pretend to be human held him back. Whereas at that moment the Legendary Super Saiyan within him, made or rather forced him to realize, that the only way to protect his home, his friends, and avenge Piccolo and Goku. Was to stop pretending to be human, stop trying to rationalize and think everything through. And simply be, embrace the relentless fury of a Super Saiyan and trample your adversaries underfoot. So now with Gohan or rather whatever is piloting him at the forefront of being the Legendary Super Saiyan. I'm pretty sure that from now on he will do what he knows he should've...Embrace the primal savagery and Wrath of the Super Saiyan. Since as he saw against the androids, leaning into being what he is, is the only way things are gonna truly change. And is the prime reason why I know that the door in his mind will stay open permanently. Furthermore, did anyone get Immortal Hulk vibes when Masako was describing the Legendary Super Saiyan power being locked behind the door.

What if suggestions: 1. What if Kami had kids during the first King Piccolo wars? 2. What if Chi Chi turned evil? 3. What if King Cold was revived instead of Freeza? 4. In Saiyan Scholar's LSSJ multiplier video, the multiplier for LSSJ was calced to be 66.6x base, now for Gohan here (using the domination multiplier for the Cyborgs' combination power level and assuming Gohan is the same power as his future self) the LSSJ multiplier is 615.384x base, over 9.23x the regular LSSJ multiplier! Yadratian training and being half-saiyan really does make all the difference!

FINALLY! He finally demonstrated power fitting of the title "Legendary Super Saiyan". And all it took was for this timeline to become as hopeless as the Future Trunks timeline. It's bittersweet, I'll tell you. My god... I loved the latter half of this part. The formerly desperate air and panicking Gohan becoming something which 17 & 18 poked and prodded over and over, I love how you described him letting go of his restraints. It’s not that Masako won’t read Non-Super Chat suggestions, it’s just that he prioritizes Super Chat. By the time he reaches to Non-Super Chat suggestions, it’s just too many suggestions to find Crisis’. This method Crisis is using could, at least, get someone who does have money to spend to like this idea and put it in a Super Chat in the next Roundtable discussion.
