Here's something I messed up with on this part. Turles actually goes with the Namek team. He does want to go and be with the team that takes on Frieza but he's become very fond of Gohan and Piccolo is too dangerous to go alone. Goku and Raditz understand his concern and are happy when he decides to go giving the namek group more muscle.

As long as the death wasnt natural they can be revived so yes the sayians killed by frieza even though planet blew up took out the bodies with the would need to revive the sayians but then need to transfer the sayians to the earth

Great series so far, I just have one problem. The room of spirit and time (at least from the dub) off the platform starts at 10x earths gravity and gets more intense the farther in you go, so in theory if they went in farther it could have gotten up to 100x. However I could be wrong, it has been a while since I've seen the series.

Yeah I'm glad you didn't make Piccolo Jr do too much damage. I've always believed that he was never as evil as his father. I know every single one of them is not canon, but there are like 5 scenes in total during the filler Kami training arc and the Piccolo Jr saga where he actually does a few merciful things that his father wouldn't have.

After watching it again, I have to ask: why didn't Goku and/or Kami try to have Piccolo sealed up with the Mafuba while he was still after Goku's return? Even if neither of them knew the technique, it wouldn't have been that long of a flight for Goku to go and collect Roshi to perform it. Did you forget about that technique or were you just hoping to keep a returning villain in the cast?

No I didn't really forget the technique but I do feel that since neither Kami in the 23rd Tournament or Master Roshi sealing King Piccolo (who was weaker) neither of them would be able to seal this version of piccolo who would definitely be anticipating it. Great question actually

The original Earth Dragon Balls (pre Dende) couldn't revive someone that was dead longer than a year. They couldn't use this set to revive the Saiyan race. Also nameks Dragon Balls only allowed you to wish one person back at a time at the time.

I don't think dying in combat really matters for any Dragon Balls. Just as long as you don't die of natural causes (i.e. old age or disease), either Dragon can revive you. Shenron also has the caveats of not reviving people more than once and not reviving people after a year has passed after their death, but Porunga has no such restriction. That said, Porunga also cannot revive more than one person per wish, and you also only get 3 wishes, but since Dende's version of Shenron grants 3 wishes as well, cutting it down to 2 or even 1 wish if it's a particularly powerful wish (like multiple resurrection), whose to say Porunga can't pool the power of 3 wishes into 1 for multi-res either? Then again, you'd also need to restore the planet as well as get all of the Saiyans on the side of Goku and co., but aside from that, it might, and that's a HUGE might, be possible.

Eh that is a bit of a complex premise to base a timeline off. I think something like What if Gohan was born in Goku's place would work better. For your idea I gotta find a Way to change Goku's personality and his S-Cell count which is a lot to do in a short period of time. It's interesting though, I'm thinking of doing a what if lightining round live stream where people suggest timelines and I run through them as quick as I can.

It's not 'combat deaths', but just death in itself. If a person dies of anything other than natural causes, like diseases, viruses, or old age, then they can be revived. But there is still a time limit to how long they can wait before being resurrected since their souls won't stay in the Otherworld forever. Eventually, they will move onto 'greener pastures' as it were.

Even i wouldve came to the conclusion that piccolo, an enemy, and nappa, an emotionallyjarred ex enemy who cant decide who's friend or foe, would be a bad idea, and i wouldve directed raditz and nappa to train together, and turles and piccolo, even if it reduced the overall power gain it'd mellow everyone out and increase bonding and cohesion. Then nappa and vegeta would bond better with the group and Piccolo may be ibnfluenced by saiyans more.

Piccolo is not a Sayan meaning he wouldn't get the same boosts from training in the hyperbolic timechamber as the Sayans. He would get stronger, but a lot less then you mentioned. Meaning Nappa wouldn't be so keen to buddy up with Piccolo so quickly.

Nappa isn't teaming up with Piccolo due to his strength in fact Piccolo being weaker is the sole reason Nappa decides to join this aliance. He wants to be in control and Piccolo has no trouble letting him belive that he is so that his own goals are carried out. As for his growth in Power he is still weaker than Nappa by how much you say he would be weaker I can't really atest to, he usually makes very big gains when training with strong partners. Look how strong he got after training with Goku and Gohan for the androids.
