The only issue with this, in the actual story, Skyler knew Walt had something to do with the Twins attacking Hank and told him he would never be forgiven for it. So if Hank had been killed, well, she would want nothing to do with him ever again.

2 ways that plays out 1. That would be walter would of just told jesse during the GPS scene "No it doesn't" Jesse under hanks eye wouldn't do much and walt would just die from the cancer and winning. Or if walt believes jesse burning his 80 mill he would just give up on the 80 mill begrudgingly. realistic he probably still has a lot of money at the car wash waiting to be cleaned. Walt would not want jack to hurt hank and jesse is with hank and jesse would again wouldn't try anything under hank. Then walt finds out jesse was bluffing and would keep going. Walt is prideful but he if he beleives jessr is burning the 80 mill he would accept he has no method of winning from there if he goes after the money. Which by extension walt wins. Hank would lose. At most walter will call jack off because if hank is with jesse he would have the foresight to not get hank and jack in the same room. Also would know jesse can't try anything. Ultimately the short version it would be if hank never found the book but with an extra step where hank Marie and jesse hate walt

I think it would be interesting to see a variation where both the twins survive and walter would try to cook up a plan to kill them, (and succeed). This would result in either gus finding out walt killed the twins, getting mad and threatening his family (this would result in the original death of gus, only difference is that walt would stop cooking after the danger his family was in) or gus would realise walters capabilities at assasinating and work together to stop the salamanca's (this would result in the ending shown in this video)

I don't agree with your ideas: 1. Marie. When Hank's life hang on a thread, she was anxious and irritated to having to wait in the hospital. When Hank was confirmed dead, she was immediately shattered. This would be the case here. No family reunion at the hospital. Just Skyler accompanying her to the morgue to identify her husband's body. 2. Skyler. The hospital scene was one of the first where Skyler decided to lie for Walt in order to fix the situation. She was informed of the danger but stick to her story to launder the money. But she was only just starting to accept her role. Seeing Mary so devastated would turn the balance almost like in Ozymandias: The cartel killed Hank and Skyler would want to know how much Walt was responsible for destroying the family. Losing Hank is not a sacrifice she'd be willing to shrug off. Marriage counseling, divorce plans, all that would go to the next round. Where it goes from there, I don't foresee, but no more pretent family harmony. 3. DEA. They were quite lucky that Hank survived. But with Hank dead, there would be much more pressure on the investigations of this shootout. Probably an external high-ranking agent would look into the Salamancas and find some of Hank's leads. What with Skyler being so vulnerable, I could imagine the DEA discovering Walt's activities. This was always Hank's blind spot. Someone reviewing Hank's files might not be blind on that eye. The show would end early and unsatisfyingly.

I think Hank dying like this would leave to a worse ending than this, like Skyler blamed Walt for Hank's injury, right? Now imagine Hank's death, she'd think Walt had something to do with it and would be placed in similar situation to her in season 5: being terrified of him, and she may even tell everyone about Walt's criminal activities. As for Walt, he wouldn't get over Hank's death so quickly, we saw how willing he was to save him in Season 4 and 5, and he'd assume Gus had something to do with it and would potentially try do make some moves to get closer into finding out the truth or just flat out taking him out... well, no actually given Gus shares the Salamanca Story and that convinces Walt that they were fully responsible... As for Jesse, well... idk, I think Thomas would've still potentially been killed by Gus and the events of full measure could've still went down, but Walt wouldn't have to kill Gus bc there was no Hank to threaten his operation and the 2 would just never talk again... unless Gus made Walt his slave like Jack did with Jesse... Long story short, I don't think Hank's death would lead to a very good outcome imo.

I think you made the situation to nonchalant if Walter heard that Hank died he would sit in the hospital chair and cry for hours knowing that he is indirectly responsible. And I don’t believe that skyler would have kept Walt’s secret any longer when she understood that her loved family members could possibly be in harms way. If she were to keep the secret (in fear of Walt or others) Walter would definitely stop working for gus and be in that depressive state (the one we saw in New Hampshire) for the rest of his short life.

It also lifts a massive weight off of Jesse of killing 100+ people and the dad, while Andrea is still alive from not interacting with Jesse. With the drugs to be closer to the first run, allows Walt to get to the hospital quicker and see the birth of his baby. With the relationship being stronger Walt keeps more of the donation money for his cancer and other bills, keeps his job at the Highschool. Later Hank doesn’t discover Jesse’s meth and the mobile home.

Great job with the videos. I have some other suggestions What if Saul and Kim left on good terms instead of how he acted cold to her in his office? What if Walt didn’t get hit by a stray bullet at Jacks house? What if Jesse went through with Hanks plan at the plaza? What if Howard left before Lalo could kill him? (Or Howard never showed up) What if Jimmy and Kim bailed on the Howard scam last minute (Like Jimmy suggested) What if Walt never saw Jesse at the ride along?

Seconded on the Howard scenario. He could have very easily spent that night stewing on his own about what happened, or went home and spilled to his wife about everything going on instead of confronting Jimmy and Kim first. From then on Saul's life could have been even more complicated, due to always needing to stay one step ahead of Howard, who would be constantly trying to expose his criminal activity (despite Howard's public reputation being dashed to the point no one takes his claims seriously, at least until things really hit the fan regarding Walt). Kim not literally turning onto bad choice road to finish the Howard scam would also have its own share of repercussions. The Sandpiper case wouldn't have settled like it did, meaning she and Jimmy wouldn't have gotten their share of the money for a while. Ther respective law practices could still be successful, but without that extra cash I don't see them having the kind of lavish lifestyle Saul ended up with in canon. And her love of scamming wouldn't have been scared out of her, at least not yet (as Mike said, she's in the game, so it's probably only a matter of time before she would end up with a Salamanca or employee of Gus putting a gun to her head). So when not busy with her legit law firm she could have still been involved in Saul's chicanery up through Breaking Bad, which would come with both pros and cons --- Jimmy and Kim are a powerful combination when they put their heads together, but they also take more risks than either would if working alone.

I think this is a really cool and interesting what if. It's really surprising to see just how drastic of an effect one seemingly small(ish) change can have on the entire series as a whole. I'd have never expected for the death of Hank to be what could potentially lead to Jessie actually getting the happy ending he deserved. Here's a Salamanca related What If? I would like to see you potentially explore: What if Walt actually killed Tuco when he went exploded that fake meth in Season one, and to save his ass bluffed his way into becoming the new Don of the area? Later being recruited by the Salamanca's, as while he did take out one of their own, it would be extremely impressive that he was able to so quickly take over Tuco's duties with such efficiency. Especially with the quality of product that Walt would be making. Or, if Gus heard of what Walt had done, and recruited him in his war to destroy the Salamanca's forever? I think either way could be a really interesting take.

Walter still would've orchestrated the prison massacre, which would heavily demoralize Mike for underestimating Todd's uncle. He plans to spend the rest of his days in Mexico at Barry Goodman's ranch, but is found by Jesse who tells him Walter poisoned Brock as part of the plan against Gus. Knowing he's a loose end to Walter who might even use Kayleigh as bait, he puts aside all concerns and resolves to take him out regardless of what happens next. Except Jesse was followed by Hank, who intercepts him on the way back to Albuquerque (Mike takes a separate car so they're not conveniently a single target). Hank quickly pieces together that Jesse met with Mike... and realizes if either Mike or Walter kill each other, there's gonna be too many dead suspects for anyone to flip. Not sure where to take it from here...

A problem I have with bb is that they forget his tape, and that tape basically made sure he won, but the writers kinda just forgot, still my favorite show but I disslike how they just ignored that bit.

I love your imagination and writing I totally agree with the Gus play to win Walt’s loyalty. BUT, what I think you didn’t factor in that can’t be ignored is that Walt’s Greed for money and power would still evolve him into an adversary and a problem for Gus. Maybe the ending is different, but because of Walt’s growing-endless greed for more, that battle would would still occur. It’s definitely a “Nexus Point” lol

I feel like Jack would’ve let Walter and Hank get away but still take Jesse and the money, but Hank wouldn’t forgive Walter for begging Jack to let him live and would arrest him, bringing Walt to justice. Soon after he would probably tell Gomez’s wife about what happened and get the DEA involved in a search for Jacks gang and Jesse

What a wildly optimistic take. I certainly enjoyed it, was kind of laughing by the end of it, but I feel like there's so much that could go wrong in the process to keep it up from going so rosily. The scenario that just drew me back to your channel to drop in your comments is this: What if Skyler was killed in the Ozymandias knife fight? I feel like this is a very clear way to make Walt's lowest point even lower.

This is honestly a better ending, I mean don’t get me wrong, it’s sad that Hank dies, one of the good guys, but Walt doesn’t become corrupt, overrun by the money, Gus lives (as well as Mike) and Walt’s family gets the money. It’s perfect. Also, Jesse getting the life he wants is the cherry on top.

Good story but another thing you overlooked was that pinkman went through a lot between Jane and combo dying. You maybe could have included that arc and still have him stealing from the lab but this time Walt is completely caught up with Gus trying to go after the slalmancas for killing hank so when gus catches the thieving its Gus and Walt VS Jesse instead of Walt and Jesse VS gus. Well it sounded cool in my head anyway lmao

Walter White's "I AM THE DANGER" speech is a little misinterpreted I feel. Yes, he can *be* dangerous, but he's also the biggest victim of his pride. Walter should have died several times over in the series. The people who could have killed him like the many Salamancas, Mike, or Gus, had bigger fish to fry. Walter's easiest prey were Gail, the two gangsters, and Brock. He's a giant insecure bully.
