I saw a crack vid here on yt once, one of the gags was the Hobbs murder as perceived in turns by Hannibal and Will. Will’s POV was a straight up thriller/horror flick, much pain and drama, while Hannibal’s POV had bright colouring and it had the song Won’t You Be My Neighbour playing over it and it was just chef’s kiss. :D

Well I mean it is a love story sort of, but the romance is not exactly the focus. It's subtle and adds flavour to the story but the focus is mainly on morality, on beauty and horror, on sanity and insanity, and general dark stuff. Doesn't mean there's not love(although Hannibal has a funny way of showing it, but I mean he's hannibal.) unhealthy love and co-dependency but still love
