Yeah blisu arts did do it first and I thought the same thing as you at first, but it is actually different he combined the two games change all the typing names made different concepts and it's like a whole different play than Pokemon, this would be literally if zelda was a pokemon region differentiate but I see what you are saying it's all love either way❤

Turning one's starter into the box legendary is a pretty cool idea. Most trainers already just solely use/over-level their starter anyway, so making it the epicentre of the plot's conflict would probably work wonders. I saw a similar idea where there was no box legendary, but instead a legendary "item" (I think it was Arceus's egg shell?) that would make any mon the box legendary with the type of your choosing. The only remnants possibly being the ability, nature, and stat-distribution, all of which were changeable.

It's a nice blast to the past, and I love the idea of putting these two things I like (Pokemon + Legend of Zelda)! And no worries on it not being so "edited" or "high production," we believe the concept and the ideas are the more important thing of a video❤

I would recommend you check out the channel Bilsu Art, who has most of his videos focusing on a Hyrule Fakemon concept, they take different paths entirely, with Bilsu's Hyrule being more a merging of the concepts than simply a region based on Hyrule, I do like this version as well, my one complaint being that the tri-force is so powerful and notable that having the starters ALWAYS being part of it feels early.

That's what I REALLY came here for; as a long-time fan who ORIGINALLY Came here for the What if (Fill in the Blank here) was a Pokemon Region Honestly; I feel like The Concepts & Ideas are MUCH more important to these kinds of videos than things like Production Values or editing!!

Good to have this series back! I think the only thing I didn't really agree with was the water starter god form ability. Even then, it's less that I like the idea and more I think it's just incredibly weak compared to the other starts. Just not losing accruacy and not able to be confused even combined is such a niche ability for a god status, especially when the others involve crazy stat buffs! Maybe the water starter could get an accuracy and evasion boost or something instead of the no accuracy loss and just learn some lower accuracy moves like hydro pump. That way it still maintains the stat boost theme while keeping its own thematic niche!

As much as I love cool art, exploring the concept itself, and your personal take on that concept, had always been what was most fun about this series. Honestly, I feel like the constantly expanding drive for higher production value isn't healthy for the KZbin ecosystem. Cool idea! Maybe the Bronzor could be based on the Lens of Truth and Bronzong on a guardian? I dunno basing both on the Mirror of Twilight seems a bit... much? Still, I like most of the other ideas! Maybe something based on a Lynel? (Litleo regional form perhaps...?)

Loved the video! I have some more suggestions for the Pokémon, if you want. First thing first, let's start with a three stage evolution line of the Pseudo-legendary of this Region, based on the Lynel enemy. It will have a Fire/Steel type with Intimidate, Competitive and his peculiar ability, Mountain King, which boosts his crit ratio when he's in a mountain or rocky ambience by 50% or if there are Spikes or Stealth Rocks on the field. Second, I thought about a Ground-type Pokémon based on the Gerudo tribe that, like Ralts, Burmy or the Nidos, has a split evolution that is relative to the Gerudo Pokémon: if it's female , it evolves into a Ground/Electric type Pokémon inspired to Urbosa; if it's male, it evolves into a Ground/Dark type Pokémon inspired to Ganondorf. Moving to the lake trio-like pokemon, I thought about three Pokémon based on Din, Nayryu and Farore, the three goddesses of Hyrule. They're Fire/Fighting (Din), Water/Fairy (Nayryu) and Grass/Flying (Farore) with their peculiar ability being Prime Power for Din (like Berserk, but Maximise her Special Attack), Heartfelt Wisdom (like Stamina but boosts Special Defense) and Heart of Courage (+1 to ATK and Speed when hit by a Super effective move). As for the "mythical" Pokémon, I suggest a Pokémon based on Midna, Link's imp companion from Twilight Princess. The mythical Pokémon is a Ghost/Fairy type, with an ability that boosts her Ghost-type moves and give them 20% chance of Flinching when it's nighttime or when she's being used in a cave . She also has a true form when you get all pieces of her mask,resembling her true form. In this form, she has a brand new ability called Dusk to Dawn, which permanently boosts her stats based on the time of day she's being used (Dawn to Morning= +2 Special Attack; Day to Afternoon= +1 Special Attack; Evening to Dusk= +1 Special Defense Night= +2 Special Defense)

I think the Zora based Pokémon should have been a a 3-split evolution (similar to Tyrogue) it starts with a Parella and then it evolves into eather a River Zora, an Ocean Zora or a Rito (because Zora have the craziest evolution across the Zelda timeline)

For a Hyrule region, the player character must be the choices between Link and Zelda. There would be different story paths for whether the player chooses to play as Link or Zelda in terms of starting area.

Hey, how about for an extension for Pokemon Sword and Shield, how about you make a region and Pokémon based on Alice in Wonderland? Where not only there be trainers based on characters from Alice and Wonderland, but also talking Pokemon! Even the Jabberwocky as one of the legendary Pokemon, and an item based on the Vorpel Blade and another pokemon which could evolve with that item.

Love the idea that the starter could be the legendary though I do have a very different idea for the grass type starter basing its ability on link as speed has very little to do with farore or the triforce of courage. Un-triformed (what I would call the transformation) I would give it immunity to status effects once per rotation. Once it transformed I would grant it the ability Unbreakable Courage which grants it total immunity to all negative statuses and stat changes. Similar to magic guard but more powerful
