I work in the same job, hairstylist. Sometimes you show the hair picture of a model, and you want to be like them, please make sure your hair is longer then them, at least the same lenght. Hair has different type, not all hair can be the same. And please we know what we're doing, if your hair cant be the same exactly looks like that picture, the problem is your hair, not us. And please be a good customer 😭😭😭

That's true, I always thought that the hair stylist can make my hair look like the picture I showed them. I was always disappointed when it doesn't look like it when done. Until one day, a stylist told me about my kind of hair, explained why they couldn't get my hair that way naturally, and what would look good with my face. I've never gone to another stylist since. A lot of customers are like what I was once, but they are just uninformed, and they need someone who knows about hair to tell them.

It's the norm to be mean to employees, because the customers expect to be treated like queens or kings. Money plays a huge factor in that, increasing their already egotistical character. It's a pretty despicable sight to see as a Korean living in the US.

You should do this kind of segment with Korean celebrities pretending to be regular workers and wearing a name tag with a different name. If anyone asks them if they are a celebrity, they just say they are the name on their name tag. Also, they can prank the customers by purposely making mistakes or saying silly things. At the end, they can reveal themselves. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaq1pWd5hpeci9k

As a hairdresser, I feel her pain... one time a client stopped me and asked if I knew what I was doing (I was doing a basic haircut on her that I’ve done for 2 years) and was rude to me the entire time. When her friend told her the color and cut looked great, she shrugged and said “I guess.” I used the exact same formula on her roots and she said the color looked different. Basically just picking on me because I’m young and therefore, must be inexperienced. Hang in there, salon sista from Korea u can do it!!

Umm I am not sure but it seems like korean are kind of unfriendly or harsh to other korean? if someone makes mistake, they have to point it out, like they have to be all perfect in what they’re doing.. in germany that’s not the case at all.. when I make mistakes, coworker or whoever, they just smile and tell me it’s ok...
@youdoyou97356 жыл бұрын
Well, you can look at it another way. People should never be rude, but if you point out the mistakes then that person knows what they can improve.

I feel sorry for that poor hairdresser. Like, I get if someone makes a mistake, it's good to tell them, but that customer could have pointed it out in a nicer way. The customer was really rude and immature. I get that it's some hierarchy thing, but that doesn't excuse that old hag's attitude. She was just straight up rude. Also, no hairdresser will be able to make your hair look like it is in the books, because of hair types. It's not the hairdresser's fault. Everyone has a different type of hair and shaped face, so the hair will ALWAYS look different to how it is in those books and mags. The hairdresser I go to is really nice, but also honest and tells me what she thinks would work better. She knows what she's doing. She's always made my hair look nice and feel better.

a year late, but whenever i go to the barber, if its someone i havent seen before i just tell them "if you mess up my hair, dont worry about it and do your best to make it look good, but if you cant just cut the rest the same length, it'll grow back eventually anyways" (i have like an undercut, so the sides are usually shaved down pretty close to the skin, and i have had someone cut to high before, so i just had him cut the rest of it to be almost bald. while i was a bit mad that i had to restart growing my hair out, i knew that it was going to grow back so i didnt worry about it)

This is so heartwarming no matter how many times i watch it. I was feeling so low last month and all i asked was my idol to come and hug me, telling me its okay and that i will be fine.
