G, I was about to cry since I thought you were leaving Taiwan, but it’s great that you are not leaving. Thanks for loving my home country.

Imagine when you’re older and looking back at these experiences you made here in Taiwan. Must be great to have all those memories collected for posterity on KZbin. :)

Thank U, Wes Davis for Sharing n Promoting All the Beauties of Taiwan to the World, Unselfishly, If U Need Someone Playing Canadian's Rock n Pop Music with Vinyls, I'm Ur Man!
Even NAS (Network-Attached Storage) cannot guarantee 100% data storage security, as a disk array may fail to rebuild data due to simultaneous failures of multiple hard drives or errors resulting from firmware updates. Additionally, system vulnerabilities can be exploited by hackers to hijack and encrypt data. Therefore, you need a second NAS for off-site backup, along with two-factor authentication and regular system updates to patch security vulnerabilities. Furthermore, implementing offline network cold backups and secondary backups is necessary to mitigate the risk of data loss.

Instead of using NAS for backup, I chose cloud backup like Google Drive, OneDrive, etc. They don't occupy any extra space, and they won't be damaged due to device aging or accidents.

A NAS is only one part of the way to organize video footage I believe. Are you using a database software for organizing the video archive? Somehow the material should be searchable by location, topic, duration and the like.

NAS is 90% of the work. Remaining 10% is backup of your data stored in a remote location, in case of fire/water damage or thievery.
I hope you can replace the word "視頻" with "影片", because the word "Video" on Google Translate is obviously based on the usage habits of the Simplified Chinese language family.
