I started in the incomparable French city of Le Puy and went about half way to St Jean Pied de Port. Perhaps the next stretch will be all the way to St Jean. And then a third trip into Santiago!

I love that you posted a new video. I've gone through nearly all of the other ones and I've been parceling out the remaining ones slowly so I don't run out. Enjoyed all the information and tips you've provided. Taken lots of notes for my 2023 Camino.

Thank you for this information. It is exactly what I was searching for and will really help me to more thoughtfully plan our trip in September 2023. We will have approximately 14-16 days. Will start in SJPP, probably skip the Meseta, and hopefully end in Santiago. Thanks again for your advice!

Thank you so much for this information. Theses are three solid and totally different options I hadn't considered. I always assumed I would just do the last bit to get my Compostela, but now I think I should start in at the beginning as you suggest and then bus to the end. I also like the 'sampler' itinerary. Very helpful info. Thanks again.

Would love to see a video on best towns for a rest day. I am planning to walk the Camino Frances in 2023 and already trying to determine how many days I will need, including rest days. Fellow lawyer here, although no longer practicing (I teach now), so I love your channel just to see another traveling lawyer. 😁

I have a rest day video! Let me know if you can’t find it. :) I did Pamplona, Logroño and Astorga and stayed at low-end hotels to maximize my rest time (and not have to check out and back in like at albergues).

Hi Kate. Its nice to have you back. I've been missing your videos. I had to cancel 2 caminos this year- a de la Plata in the spring and a redo of the Frances with a friend who has never walked it in the fall. So I've been an avid consumer of Camino content in the time of covid, and yours is some of my favorite content. I have a fading hope of doing the missed Frances this fall, but in the meantime please keep posting.

Thanks so much Bill! I will definitely keep posting and I know your Camino will happen when the time is right. 😊

What is the bus to Sarria you took? It looks like all bus’ take 21 hours to get to Sarria from Logroño.

Maybe the reason us Aussies get 4 weeks holidays is the time we have to spend in the air 😂

Great to have a new video! Thank you for typing in a couple other videos you have done. A good reminder to review them. Curious if there is a need to do a video on places along the Frances that may pose a challenge in what direction to go? Example - I have heard and read it can be tricky to find the scenic park path leading into Burgos. Again, great to have a new video.

Hello! First thanks for your suggestions! Second, can you share written itinerary? Difficult to take notes to try and thoroughly consider each of the options when just listeneing.

Arzua -> Santiago is 40km, so maybe you wanted to include O Pedrouzo somewhere there?

This is a comment to help you smile. :) - One of my favorite posts that I've seen about walking the Camino this year: Walk like it is the only and last time you're walking. The more I hear stories, read stories, watch videos, watch groups and forums, I realize just how privileged people are who get to go. And how insanely privileged those are who go multiple times. Blessings. - Do you have the notes you were reading from available online somewhere? - Do you have any 2 week itineraries for any Portuguese Way routes?
@WanderlustingLawyer3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Unfortunately, I haven’t yet done any of the Portuguese routes but I’m currently learning the language and hope to soon! Sure - shoot me an email to wanderlustintlawyer@gmail.com and I’ll send you the notes. :-)

Why do all three of your routes start in France? There are other 2 week or less routes that would seem to be just as fulfilling (e.g. Primitivo)
@WanderlustingLawyer3 жыл бұрын
I wanted to speak from experience. I’ve never done the Primitivo, but I’ve heard it (and the Portuguese from Porto) are fabulous options!

Thank you so much for this video! It couldn't have come at a better time for me because this has been what I've been contemplating. I plan to travel with my daughter in the spring and start in St. Jean and probably trying to get to Burgos. I'm' no hurry. But if I get my vaccine soon and if conditions in Spain improve, (two big ifs for sure) I plan to go in late September. I'm thinking of starting Leon and finishing in Santiago. Do you think that's doable with travel days?
@WanderlustingLawyer3 жыл бұрын
Hi William I just went back and looked at my itinerary and it’s absolutely doable on the two-week time-frame, even assuming you don’t start walking from Leon until Monday and need to be back in the US two Sundays later. I’ll make a video on this!
