As Christians, Satan has no direct control of our lives. The way he "creates" our future is to influence our thinking and decision process to cause us to make the bad decisions, which in turn cause us grief. It's all about who you choose to listen to - the Spirit of God or Satan. And Satan's doesn't make his leading obvious. It might even seem at first to be good and wise. When he tempted Eve, he showed her the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil as something good and desirable. As a Christian, one needs to be discerning and wise about what comes into our mind and across our path. Is it in line with the Word of God? Is it consistent with how God operates in our life? (God never tempts one to do evil.) Even good Christian friends can give bad advise. So be careful.

I’ve been suffering a lot with fear the past decade or so. I thought my fear of the world was simply because the world is ruled by the enemy. Recently my fear had become so bad, I couldn’t get out of bed, I cried and cried and even thought about suicide. I couldn’t do my work or take care of my child because from the fear came depression. Then I started getting extreme anger at the world for what it has become. I had fear, depression, and anger taking over my life. I cried out to the LORD. I cried and I cried and the LORD finally answered me. When I drove to work one day, I read a billboard about how fear does not come from GOD. Still I was in pain so I cried for more word from the LORD. Everywhere I started going, I would hear passages on the radio about how fear is ungodly. One day I sat down with my boss and he came out of nowhere and said “fear is the opposite of faith”. I was stunned and felt so loved by our LORD because he heard my pleading and HE answered me. I would see random bible passages on fear pop on google searches (not joking). For some reason I had the same feeling hit my heart again and I felt horrible. I was looking through the Lion of Judah videos and the first one-THE FIRST ONE- was in how fear, sickness, depression and anger are all spirits who work for the evil one. I never knew this but all the time I was suffering with these spirits, all I had to do cast them out in the name of JESUS! Years I let them get the best of me and just didn’t know what to do and now they are gone! Just sitting here writing this makes me cry because GOD is so good and HE is so real. I cried out for him, I screamed out the LORDs name and I prayed and pleaded and HE heard and redeemed me. Don’t give up faith. All of you out there who believe in the LORD... don’t give up and don’t surrender!!!!!!

Genesta Coleman - I do not know you but I know this will help you in your walk with the Lord, especially if you have backslidden or are new to the faith, so this covers a lot. Not everyone who believes in the Lord God will get into heaven like they want to think. I'm not going to sugar-coat this for you. We are called to live holy, set apart lives. Jesus said "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:21-23. Iniquity is lawlessness (SIN). So if you are in any willful sin you must deal with this first and go through the ongoing process of sanctification (becoming holy and set apart from the world). You must be SAVED. Today is the day of salvation as tomorrow is NEVER promised. According to the gospel of Paul, who wrote the majority of the books in the New Testament that are about salvation through Jesus Christ, to be saved you must first believe in WHAT Jesus Christ did for you, firstly, by His blood atonement for your sins: "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through FAITH IN HIS BLOOD, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; " Romans 3:25. Secondly: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10. Thirdly, " Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I (Paul) preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. You must then REPENT from willful sins to be forgiven: "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;" Acts 3:19. Repentance is an intentional change or turning away FROM sin and turning TO God; from wanting to sin to not wanting to sin. It is a change of heart in regard to sin. If you truly want to be saved and repent it is because God has laid it on your heart. First you must believe in your heart that Jesus Christ was crucified and died for your sins, that He was buried and God raised him from the dead on the third day and now sits at the right hand of the Father. Secondly, one very important thing you have to remember is that God does NOT want anyone to come to Him who is only HALF-hearted or lukewarm. He does not work that way. "You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with ALL YOUR HEART." Jeremiah 29:13. God has so much LOVE & MERCY for us but He wants us to be serious about coming back to Him and not be double-minded. "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9. "Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation without regret, but worldly sorrow brings death." 2 Corinthians 7:10. You must have a FULLY REPENTANT HEART. "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." John 6:37. So when you are alone just drop to your knees (doesn't have to be your knees, just get your heart low and humble to God) and take all the time you need to discuss it all over with the Lord on how you have wronged Him, how you wish to know Him and feel so distant from Him. Most of all just admit and CONFESS your every sin under the sun and have total regret in your heart (in tears like a baby) and express your love for the Lord. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9. But this does NOT give us a license to sin. You do not want to be a lukewarm Christian: "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." Revelation 3:16. This cry out to God for help goes the same for anyone who is backslidden or lukewarm in their faith during their walk who wants to return to Him. "Return, ye backsliding children, and I will HEAL your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God." Jeremiah 3:22. Cry out to God with everything you have and beg Him to take those sinful desires away from you and let Him know you can't do it without Him and His help... and have FAITH that He will heal you and see what happens... do it with all you have and just cry out to Him. This does not mean that you will not still get tempted, but the sinful DESIRE will be removed, especially when you do not feed into it by giving into it and letting it grow. He wants you to be humble and put your PRIDE aside and confess them to Him and let Him know how sorry you are. Don’t try to hide your sins as He knows them ALL anyway. Humble yourself to Him and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess ALL of your sins to Him. Ask Him to even forgive you of sins you cannot remember. Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. Pray and cry out to God with all of your heart and wide open soul and ask Him to forgive your sins. He will blot out all of your sins when you REPENT/ TURN from your sins. He will take away your heart of stone (from being hard hearted toward Him) and give you a heart of flesh. But you must repent so His Holy Spirit can LIVE in you. " In whom ye also trusted (in Christ), after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise," Ephesians 1:13 You must come to the point of HATING SIN because it is what separates us from God. That is why you feel the way you do. But many just love their sin too much to let it go. Breaking free from the bondage of sin is not an event but a process. But Jesus died to atone/ cover your sins and bring you back to God when you Get right and stay right with Him. Becoming holy (sanctification) is not only an event, it is a PROCESS to stay holy, always turning to God. You will be able to OVERCOME the bondage of willful sin by the POWER of the Holy Spirit. So pray to the Lord and ask Him for the Holy Spirit which will guide you and convict you of sin on your new walk with the Lord. "So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" Luke 11:13. For God to forgive us, we must forgive EVERYONE who has ever hurt us or done wrong to us, even if you cannot remember at the moment let God know you forgive them. You must continually forgive as you go thru life. "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Matthew 6:14-15. We must forgive and let go of what others have done to us so that we have no bitterness in our hearts. Unresolved bitterness that you carry with you only leads to quickness in getting angry in the future. Forgiveness is not just for them, it is for YOU too... If you haven't done so already, you should work on this when you talk to God in the next couple of days to let Him know WHO you are forgiving and for WHAT. "Let go and let God"... HEAL! "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." Ephesians 4:31-32. (SEE PART 2 IN NEXT COMMENT)

Genesta Coleman - (PART 2) God wants us to come back to Him as we are no matter how much we have sinned. "I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:32. He wants us to come as we are, but we do not stay as we came. This is the process of being sanctified. I am not saying you have to stop ALL sinning right away for Jesus to reveal himself to you spiritually. "Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again (of the Holy Spirit).” John 3:3. The Holy Spirit enters when one truly makes the decision to believe on Jesus as their Lord and Savior and in what He did for us and follow Him. But I am saying that God, in His foreknowledge, may not reveal His Son to those whom He knows don't really want to fully turn to Him, but are just testing Him and would end up NOT REPENTING, therefore rejecting Him anyway. In other words, God knows our hearts and if we desire to fully know and receive God, or if we are just testing Him without a truly repentant heart. When you get the Holy Spirit you will STOP willful sinning gradually. The Holy Spirit will CONVICT you of sin. Some sins (sinful bad habits) will start falling off soon and others will take time for the Lord to reveal those sins to you. Always ask the Lord which sins you need to repent of and He will reveal those to you. You will go thru the process of Sanctification (being made holy by sinning less and less) in your new walk with the Lord. One of Satan's greatest tricks is to excite/ entice us with 'worldly' pursuits and stay busy so that we never have time for God. You must make time for God daily or the devil will get you like he may have you now. He has been torturing your mind and keeping you in the bondage of sin. Either you can live determined to sin or you can live determined to live Holy and righteous. "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous." 1 John 3:7. Either you can rebel against God or you can rebel against sin. This is NOT a quick race, this is a marathon and a lifestyle. YOU MUST NEVER, EVER, EVER GIVE UP. Let God know the areas you are weak or ignorant or still confused and would like his guidance. He will help you, He really will!! Pray to God every day and night for His help in what you need, (not want). Pray for spiritual discernment, understanding, knowledge and wisdom. Ask God what His will is now, not yours. Seek God through Jesus Christ, who is His word. Read your BIBLE daily, start with ALL 4 GOSPELS to the end of the New Testament, to draw closer to God and help you fight the enemy. "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6. Again, since sin is what separates us from God, we must come to the point of hating sin so we do not disappoint the Lord or ourselves, now or on judgement day. The fleeting pleasure of sin is not worth it. The verse "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7 means that OBEDIENCE to God that over time takes the "power" away from demons that tempt you so you can OVERCOME willful sin. Satan will still tempt you of coarse since that is what he DOES. But as soon as sin comes up in our hearts or our minds we must defeat it IMMEDIATELY so it does not continue to LINGER AND GROW. When you let it grow it can overcome us and turn into action if we let it. That is how the devil gets in and STAYS IN your mind. When temptation from the devil slithers in, you must step on his neck and kill it. And idle time is the devil’s workshop. God always provides a way out of sin, you just have to find the strength "in the moment" to walk away and just deny yourself of it. You can do this with the power of the Holy Spirit and reciting scripture verses like: "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it." 1 Corinthians 10:13. If you cannot just walk away, remain strong in Christ through silent thought and prayer. The devil is very subtle and will make you rationalize and 'justify' your sin... so as soon as you catch yourself doing this you must stop or he will win. So again, when temptation from the devil slithers in, you must step on his neck and kill it so we can cut sin out of our mind. Knowing this trick of the enemy is KEY to helping us defeat sin every day and you will get better and better at it as the days go by but do not give in for a second. Jesus has commanded us to be holy "Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." 1 Peter 1:16. Sanctification (process of becoming holy) is an ongoing process. You have to fight the enemy every day, all day. The fight NOW is better than going to hell where you can't fight your way out. So "resist the devil and he will flee" - you will have peace especially when you get more familiar with God's word - the verses you learn help to reassure you and keep the devil 'at bay' so he stops keeping you in willful sin (bad habits). Reading the bible daily helps give us peace “Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.” Proverbs 3:7. This is an ONGOING process and the healthy Fear of the Lord helps us to become sanctified. The devil gets in because he knows your weaknesses and will use them against you. He will not try to go in thru a locked front door (one sin previously conquered), he will sneak around to find a breach... The devil never stops. So you must "Put on the full armor of God." Ephesians 6. Read it. Or you will continue to be miserable until you surrender your life to Christ, the Prince of peace. The devil is never gone for good, NOT YET! Not til we're in heaven. We must fight the enemy every day, all day. The devil TEMPTS us b/c that's what he DOES, even to the most strong followers. The battle is in our minds as well so rebuke bad thoughts, in Jesus name. "Casting down imaginations (of lust, pride, bitterness, etc.) and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity EVERY THOUGHT to the obedience of Christ;" 2 Corinthians 10:5. We get better at this as time goes by and the more we practice it, like riding a bike. We take sinful thoughts and "nip them in the bud" so they do not grow in our minds or turn into sinful actions. This is the SPIRITUAL WARFARE WE ALL go through. We must know thy enemy so we can defeat him with the help of the Holy Spirit. Because when the devil knows you have given your life to Christ he will use FEAR and DOUBT to try and throw you off the narrow path. If you aren't experiencing some sort of spiritual warfare and fighting temptation then you are not saved and the devil has you right where he wants you, BLINDED. Satan attacks the ones he is losing the most, the true believers and followers of Christ, but he lets the others sleep in their ignorance as they are spiritually dead and blinded. "Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light." Ephesians 5:14. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded." James 4:8. You purify you heart by not giving into the temptations of the devil and you stop being "double-minded" by not just professing with your lips but by professing with your actions and not being a double-minded hypocrite saying one thing yet doing another. "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9. Read the bible and stay in God's word DAILY to help you stay at peace and put God's word ON YOUR HEART... TO PURIFY IT MORE. This is like the purifying process of gold. It is passed through the fire and heated so the impurities rise to the top so they can be skimmed off. Make sure when you do things for others it is with good motives having pure heart for them and not selfish motives for what you think you can get in return. The Lord loves it when we give selflessly with a cheerful heart, not selfishly or with a begrudging heart. This is an ongoing process until death, but deliverance helps this process become easier. The verse "resist the devil and he will flee" comes from Obedience to God. OBEDIENCE takes the power away from tempting demons so we can be delivered from them. Pray to God constantly to show you any impurities or dirty spots on your heart and He will reveal those things you need to IMPROVE ON... TO PURIFY IT EVEN FURTHER. We must have a PURE HEART. Purifying your heart is an ongoing process. We must rely on Jesus' to help us with this process as we cannot do it on our own. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that convicts us, guides us and helps us to stop willful sinning as we cannot do this on our own. "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26. The Holy Spirit is what convicts us, is our Guide, our Comforter, and our Advocate to God Almighty that enables us to have the relationship He so desires. It's all about a daily RELATIONSHIP with our Father. On judgement day, you do not want to hear Jesus say "I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Iniquity is sin aka lawlessness. Through any situation God can use you to do something. He is still the God of the impossible. Even though the storm is raging and can destroy you completely and break you down, Jesus is with you always. He will use your situation for His glory and lift you to heights you never believed were possible. In my life at just 15 I gained the one thing from God which gave me joy beyond explanation. It was ripped away from me, but in that brokenness the spirit of God spoke to me that He brought it to me and will bring the dead back to life. He will deliver you, need only to trust Him. Go to God in brokenness and pain and He will lead you, commit yourself to God and believe Him, in His perfect timing you will be delivered. Trust God. Look to any story in the Bible and you will find a hope for what you are going through. Jesus said come forth to Lazarus and he rose from the dead, Jesus stood up and said be still and the waves and wind died. Knowing these things don’t even dare to worry about your future and what might happen. Just Trust God He means Good for your Life. God did the impossible for me and brought a dead relationship after so much time back to life and God worked in me to glorify His name at the same time through the Holy Spirit. Trust God for He will never forsake you. In His timing He will deliver you. If you see this then just Trust God. He will deliver you. Just Believe. Even when I was discouraged to a point of questioning my battle, remember God gets things to a place of impossibility, God allows it to get so hopeless to the natural eye, but just remember that God is faithful and the same God that created the universe and woke you up this morning is fighting for you. Just trust Him, your miracle is almost here, keep going. Keep Believing because God will not fail you.

@@jlove3046 oh let me assure you it's the opposite. I suffer from diabetes, asthma, arthritis aspergers, tendinitis and depression. But what I meant was that once we actually know gods presence like we know our parents as toddlers we usually dont want to leave it because were fearful and crave affection. And I'm a believer as much as the next guy however I do not go to church u used to every now and again one of the reasons I stopped going is because I wasn't learning anything I didnt already know they all (I went to multiple churches) talked about the same thing over and over and I wanted to know how god acted in other situations so I left conventional churches cuz you're more likely to learn by reading the bible yourself and going out to preach it yourself or you can learn from a street preacher. 😉

No not to get into heaven I just dont want to live forever knowing I might have disappointed him. Yes I do believe jesus is lord and savior and I try to keep his commandments all 10 of em. It's not easy but he says we can do it. And I contrary to popular belief I believe when people die they sleep in the grave until the 1st resurrection. And I believe the tribulation is before the rapture however I do not believe the 7 yr thing everyone's pushing cuz it's not actually mentioned in the bible. And when I've had relatives pass away all the others would pray for them to live and be healed and they died anyway why? Cuz god doesnt grant fleshy prayers. And he says during tribulation he who endures to the end will be saved so I respectfully disagree with you we do have to suffer to an extent and yes I ask from time to time for god to take it from me and the answer I get is "NO" the thing I ask for most is forgivness like we all should.

He wants our honesty, and wants us to pour our hearts out to Him. If you do these things, you will draw closer and closer to Him everyday, and you will be so glad that you did!
