It's not console actually. I think it's a focus, because whenever I see Austria outlive Anschluss they always do this sometime in the mid 40s. If it's not a bug it DEFINITELY needs to be removed though for obvious reasons.

@brenrmad6282 not sure but I've seen it happen on multiple timelapses, from different channels. None of the scenarios in which it takes place are similar to each other either; my guess is that it's supposed to be some sort of diplomatic decision to russia/ussr, but it's bugged and it just annexes them instead

@@V-412 I don't think they were trying to make this a feature. But bugs are about as commonplace as the actual code behind a game; a hundred thousand things could go wrong. I'm sure if enough people complain Paradox will remove it
