What If Jon Snow Never Took the Black, Remaining in Winterfell as Ned’s ‘Bastard’ Son?

What if there's an undead dragon under Winterfell that kept it warm. Like Jon had been resurrected by the Lord of light, that undead dragon had been resurrected&chained but it needs to bond with a Targaryen to awaken it. Like Vyserion, it has a blue flame and it's fire is used to keep Winterfell warm.

He either would have died in kings landing or died at the red wedding if he didn't take the black

What if Jon Snow recognized the threat of the WhiteWalkers and the need of safe haven for the Wildlings. So instead of fighting against the Wildlings, Jon convinced Mormont to let the Wildlings cross the Wall in exchange for assistance to defend it when the WhiteWalkers eventually attacks with the condition of no pillaging by the Wildlings.

He didn't have a choice, Cat told Ned that if Ned became hand then Jon was not allowed to stay at Winterfell any longer. He had no place to go so Measter suggested he take the black, least thats how it went down in the books.
