It would just be more of the same with another slave to his dark master. That's what made Snoke's death so mind-boggling of being killed off by making Kylo Ren's character grow and for Star Wars to experience uncharted ground.

@@mrblack9968 or just another obstacle that he intended to kill Rey with together. Because it honestly means sense to me Palpatine returned as the big bad given the many clues for his return since The Force Awakens soundtrack and the aftermath trilogy. Palpatine was trying to manipulate the both of them to pit against each other so he could have the perfect vessel for his consciousness / essence. And one way or another they were going to turn on Palpatine for the worst or the better for the galaxy.

Inadvertently kylo killed two people in this move. First Rey And the Kathleen Kennedy who had a hear attack after watching her feminist icon fall to the floor And kylo became the hero of the franchise
