Really cool, but might I add a couple of possibilities: 1: On the way to Alabasta or Marineford the first time, something could happen that would cause the marines to go to Drum Island, stopping Wapol could also just be someone Luffy is hired to take down, meaning that he'd meet Chopper and could probably convince him to be a marine. 2: Luffy would probably meet Kinemon and Momonosuke at Punk Hazard and would likely know about Wano earlier, which may cause him to want to fight Kaido.

Since Luffy never broke into Impel Down, Blackbeard would've died or been locked up by Magellan. The only reason that Blackbeard survived was that Magellan was more focused on getting Luffy and the other escaped criminals.

It's wierd that Luffy is has such as strong personality that when making this storyline it seems like luffy is pushing back against it. Luffy was clearly designed to be a pirate and even in fictitious alternate realities it is so hard to put him down into another path without changing his personality. He would find a way to still recruit the whole crew and end up finding the one piece. Still meeting Shanks, inspired by pirates but also inspired by marines. He would be the weirdest marine. We could have two types of stories. One that keeps the general route and one that changes it a lot maybe just being a revolutionary would be better for him.

8:27 I disagree. It appeared as though the Flame-Flame fruit was the prize specifically because of what Luffy did on Punk Hazard. Doflamingo wanted to lure Luffy into the coliseum so that he could either kill him turn him into a toy. Without Luffy disrupting Caesar Clown's SAD production, Doffy would have likely given the Flame-Flame to someone in his family, or simply sold it.
