What If Mace Windu Followed Dooku to Sidious' Lair

In Tales of the Jedi we learn that Master Yaddle is slain by former Jedi Dooku. What would've happened if Master of the Order Mace Windu followed Dooku instead? Would Windu win the battle or lose? If he won would he be able to defeat Sidious? If he lost would Dooku be able to live with killing his friend?

It would probably lead to a Separatist Civil War, with the droid armies on one side and local militias on the other. The local militias would probably form a temporary alliance of convenience with the Republic also.

Good twist that that Vaapod couldn't help Mace initially because Dooku was still technically in the light and simply making his choice based on judgement still in the light. But as Dooku grew corrupted and fed into the dark side he ironically grew weaker. Vaapod now able to take advantage of him but his own ideals(corrupted) holding him back from fully going into the Dark side.

Well this can go very bad or good. Dooku joins Mace, Sidious is dead. But if Dooku joins Sidious, vaapad isn't saving you this time mace. If Mace dies this could lead somewhere interesting to be honest. What if Darth Zannah was a Jedi? Either she refrains from killing the Jedi who originally comes for her, or another Jedi takes her instead soon after, assuming Bane doesn't find her or a twin of some kind exists. She undergoes training until she becomes a Jedi Knight or perhaps even a Jedi Master. Then, she receives one of two visions. The first vision portrays Anakin or Luke as the chosen one. She believes in the prophecy and enters stasis, intending to train them to confront Palpatine during the Clone Wars or the time of the Empire. The second vision involves Palpatine himself, maybe as the Emperor. Believing that she is the chosen one due to this, she enters stasis until the Clone Wars, awakened by the Force or some other catalyst. To fight him herself. To maintain her characterization as the Zannah we know and love, she excels as a master of Form Three and is proficient in Jedi Alchemy or sorcery, perhaps even both. I think the second vision would make for a better story, as training Anakin/Luke videos are already abundant on your channel. Day 37

Personally I assume Dooku will defeat Mace but start challenging his allegiances afterwards. Also, the council would be more aware as Mace was still on the council unlike Yaddle and a key role, being one of the most skilled duellists in the order. That would likely motivate the council to look into it more and as Mace would’ve likely kept his tracker on, they could locate the lair and discover plans for the war even if Sidious and Dooku escaped in-time.

Maul either kills him or Savage would eventually be killed by a big name Jedi like Anakin, or Obi-Wan. Maul may be killed off which would definitely spell the end for the night sisters once Dooku found out. He'd become another Asajj like figure under Dooku. Though more obedient since we never see what he'd be like independently. Can't see Savage making a big impact on the universe in his own right.

Here's a few interesting ones that could be fun. • What If Anakin Skywalker was made Grandmaster of the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars. - Yoda could die and in his last moments decide that Anakin must be the grandmaster. • What If Anakin Skywalker was a Mandalorian Jedi. - I know you did one with him as a mandalorian. Seeing him become a Mandalorian jedi could also be very interesting. Maybe he finds the Darksaber. • What If Kylo Ren was Luke Skywalker's son. - Be interesting to see how Luke reacts to his own son turning into Kylo Ren • What If Kylo Ren joined Rey in The Last Jedi. - seeing how this plays out could be interesting. • What If Anakin Skywalker became Battlemaster of the Jedi Order • What If Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi were half brothers. - Shmi could have been married and had Obi-Wan but they separated. Anakin is born like normal and over the course of the story they discover that they brothers. • What If Palpatine and Sidious were two different people. - Palpatine could still be chancellor and he still looks after Anakin with noble intentions. Sidious could try to turn Anakin. I could see Anakin doing an "I told you so" when Palpatine isn't the sith lord. • What If Padme Amidala was a Jedi. - Maybe her and Anakin could fall in love or possibly have a force dyad. So many ways to go with this. • What If Anakin Skywalker formed the Knights of Ren. • What If Anakin Skywalker was sent to Malacore(the planet in Rebels s2 final) during the clone wars. - Maybe Palpatine fakes something like a CIS has working on something big. They jedi council send Anakin to do recon but it's a trap. Palpatine could try to manipulate him. Maybe his lightsaber gets destroyed so he crafts a new cross-guard lightsaber. • What If Rey was Kylo Ren's sister - Maybe Han and Leia hid her on Jakku to keep her away from Kylo. What if Savage was trained by the Jedi, I think there already is one but I really love the idea, especially considering that multiple sources claim that Savage had a higher midichlorian count, a full potential Savage is stronger in the force and I don't see why he would be worse with the blade. I'd love to see Savage Opress as a surviving Jedi during the Imperial Era, maybe of he was trained by someone like Seasee Tiin, one of the most powerful telepaths and a great pilot. Most people belive Plo would be the best Master but I feel like Saesee would definitely be a great choice. I'd love to see the two during the imperial era, especially Savage as a fully light side embracing Jedi, maybe even a Master if he joined the Jedi young enough.

One shouldn’t forget Vaapad doesn’t JUST involve reflecting the darkness from other opponents. The basic fundamentals of Vaapad require the user to have an inner darkness (i.e. the joy of combat) within themselves and use it to their advantage WITHOUT succumbing to the dark side. Vaapad would still be an essential tool for Mace in this fight but since Dooku isn’t a Sith Lord yet, Windu will have to stack other forms on top of Vaapad to bolster his chances. Windu has several forms to choose from since another requirement for form 7 is mastery of several other forms of lightsaber combat. Windu would most likely use Soresu, Ataru, and Djem So. Windu has a solid defense and will need this to quickly switch to defense on a dime. Windu is also an agile, acrobatic fighter who uses his entire body as a weapon and this is even showcased in his use of Vaapad without a lightsaber. Thus, Ataru will be necessary to keep Dooku at bay and weaken him. Windu would know Djem So will be an effective tool against Dooku though I believe he will lean more towards the “counterattack” techniques rather than use it like Anakin or Plo Koon would. In short, Mace Windu is more than capable of rivaling Dooku blow for blow. The former Jedi Master Dooku would undoubtedly use Makashi in ways no one has done for generations and his precision and experience will certainly push Windu to his limits and vice versa. The two are ultimately equals in combat.

I mean if he really believed he'd have done anything to save Jin than he would've confessed to the Jedi about Palpatine before he has a chance to send Maul to Naboo, I mean by the time that Maul is first encountered, Dooku should've been like "huh, my student is currently on a mission that will put him at odds with the sith lord, I should let the council know that I killed yaddle for the sith lord and I know who he is." Train of thought. But no of course Dooku over being like "well Palatine, I know your apprentice killed my apprentice and was killed by my grand-apprentice, but no yeah I'll totally become your apprentice even though you have a history of letting your apprentice's die, yeah great plan, me."

What If on Halo 3's final mission the portal on the Ark sends the Forward unto Dawn carrying Master Chief, Cortana and Arbiter (all together, two or one depending if the ship splits or not) A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away . . . . Star Wars (or to be more specific at the start or little before the Phantom Menace or New Hope) See more of the story below!?! This is a work in progress! but feel free to take, edit and use in your final draft if you wish, just a small mention/credit of what I may have contributed will be fine with me :) SWPM option 1, Arbiter: The front half of the Forward unto Dawn carrying Arbiter teleports into the Star Wars galaxy at speed, passes the CIS blockade, who are left wondering WTF was that, but of course turn their attention to another approaching ship ( Qui Gon Jinn / Obi Wan kenobi journey stays the same for now ... ) Arbiter crashes into the ocean or large lake on the planet of Naboo, after salvaging what he can and escaping the sinking wreck Arbiter sets off in search of civilization ... only at first to find Jar Jar Binks !?! ... After setting up camp for the night and having something to eat ( either human ration packs salvaged from the F.U.D | or some form of creature that Arbiter would be able to catch/eat ) lured by the smell of food Jar Jar " Attempts " to sneak up! ... Only to get caught (detected via Arbiters hunter/warrior senses ... that or his motion tracker) after a lot of begging/bargaining Arbiter takes pity on him and offers Jar Jar a deal, guide him to the "Human" capital of Naboo in exchange for food/protection/knowledge ! (Jar Jar of course would accept this offer, what with being banished from going home for being clumsy) along the way perhaps they'll find a crashed but still operational Warthog (which is worse, trusting Jar Jar to drive or shoot? ... errr best to just put him in the passenger seat!) after some time driving through the jungle they'll come under attack from scouts of the droid invasion, Arbiter hits the brakes and jumps on the turret and takes out the scouts, hearing the sounds of combat the JEDI head over to investigate and provide assistance ... Arbiter seeing what looks like "Humans" approaching starts asking What, Where, When, Why !?! ... The JEDI being just as baffled about this new situation offer to answer / help the best they can in exchange for a ride! ... ( JJ will likely call Arbiter " Arby " for short throughout the story ) SWPM option 2, Chief / Cortana: The back half of the Forward unto Dawn carrying Chief / Cortana teleports into from their perspective a unknown region of space! Cortana of course will start running scans of the area and drop a beacon for potential rescue (for about 4 years, 7 months, 10 days she won't be suffering from rampancy yet) ... oh would you look at that its the ship that Qui Gon Jinn/ Obi Wan kenobi are traveling on, after introducing themselves / explaining their situation the JEDI will ask if MC/C would like to accompany them to the planet of Naboo or wait for them or another ship to give them a tow? 1a) If they stay some time later the JEDI will send a message saying the CIS have just attempted to kill them, rather than being sitting ducks, Cortana uses what control they have over the F.U.D to steer it to Naboo for a controlled crash landing, if the CIS blockade is able to detect MC's life sign, Cortana will activate the remaining F.U.D weapons to fend off any attacking Vulture droids and leave via one of many escape pods launched at once! 1b) If they leave with the JEDI, the F.U.D will be left behind for now, and potentially get caught in Naboo's gravitational pull and crash there, when arriving at the CIS blockade MC/C will have another two choices: 2a) Stay in ship until what should be " short negotiations " are over! ... outcome: ship gets blown up with MC/C just about escaping the blast or bursts out of the wreckage like a Demon to the bewilderment of the battle droids! 2b) Join the JEDI in the meeting to introduce themselves to this new galaxy or pretend to be acting security! ... outcome: oh boy, if the CIS were spooked about JEDI showing up in the original story, what are going to think Chief is ... Mandalorian perhaps ( they won't know anything about Cortana yet ) When Lord Sidious gives the order " kill them immediately " so the CIS blows up the horse they rode in on and " try " to gas the JEDI / Chief ... pfffft ha ha ha ha HAHAHAHAHAHAHA cue the song (Unyielding Soul) whichever scenario plays they link up and fight their way to the bridge! Unfortunately with MC likely only carrying a H3 Assault rifle, H3 Magnum pistol and maybe some grenades at the time, it may not be enough to deal with the Droidika's shields, leading to the group needing to sneakoff the ship ... but not before causing a "little" distraction via shutting off / damaging ship systems / trigger the ship self destruct / maybe even reprogram the droids (If Cortana can hack Covenant/Forerunner tech I'm sure she won't have a problem with the tech in Star Wars ... assuming there is a console/access port they can hack) SWPM option's 1/2 combined: When combining these perspectives most details stay the same, with the exception of Chief / Cortana telling the JEDI that Arbiter is about to crash-land on the planet of Naboo (or already has) they'll also be able to keep in contact with Arbiter via COM's until the CIS blocks communications!

What if Ahsoka fought and died at the hands of Vader on the Death Star in A New Hope? - Ahsoka plays Obi-Wan’s role in Episode 4 - Obi-Wan could have died before ANH, possible points in the timeline include (but are not limited to): (a) Order 66, (b) v.s. Anakin on Mustafar, (c) v.s. Vader during the events of “Obi-Wan Kenobi” - She, alongside Luke, Han, and the rest of the crew, leave Tatooine to rescue Princess Leia - Ahsoka has one final battle with Vader, like Obi-Wan in the original film, in order to give Luke, Leia, and the others a chance to escape 2. What if Ahsoka fell in love with Barriss Offee during the Clone Wars? - Ahsoka and Barriss could fall in love at any point during the Clone Wars, if given enough development - How this would impact the bombing of the Jedi Temple is up to you?

Dooku and Mace together could actually pull off a win against TPM Sidious, even though Dooku doesn't have his dark side buff, nor has Mace been battlefield hardened, TPM Sidious is nowhere near his peak either, hell by this point he'd only just murdered Plagueis not long before.

What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories. Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself. What if anakin was a jedi watchmen or wayfinder. What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia. What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance. What if oppo rancis trained anakin. What if anakin met and fell in love with ventress just before the clone wars just after her masters death. What if anakin became a jedi sentinel like a watchmen or one of those who find younglings. What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin. Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life. What if anakin fell in love with luminara unduli, serra keto or bultar swan. What if anakin was taught by agen kolar or sasee tin or adi gallia.
