A very double edged situation. Palpatine won't be able to further manipulate Anakin, able to commit Order 66, or manipulate the war effort. BUT Dooku will take advantage of the war effort, Maul might overestimate his chances against Jedi like Anakin, and the Republic would need to act swiftly to gain footing against the Separatists.

Actually, the Republic would've overtaken the CIS via Industrial Might eventually. It's a misconception that the CIS had greater industry, it just took the Republic longer to centralize theirs in a coordinative effort.

Not only the Starwars Universe would be changed but the Force and the Antiforce would be well balanced between the worlds between worlds. Anything is possible just like Rick and Morty

@@lightnihilus I should probably specify that I mean if Dooku jumped in to fight Maul with Qui-Gon. How would a dark side Dooku interact with his light side self? Not that there is much light left at this point, but Qui-Gon's death is what drove Dooku to the dark side fully.

@@NoiriumIdk If you read the comics Dooku saw a hologram of Maul fighting Quigon. And saw Qui-Gon get stabbed by Maul. Palpatine actually had it planned out. While having Dooku see it. That's what drove Dooku to the darkside Though What would turn Dooku to the Lightside? is jumping in while saving Qui Gon from Maul. That would impact and affect the darkside Count dooku. And would automatically change the outcome of him. And he probably would abandon Sidious. From him turning to the darkside in the first place. Because Dooku did care about Qui Gon. And he did train Qui Gon. Anyway If you listen to what Dooku says in attack of the Clones episode 2 of what he said to Obi Wan. Dooku wasn't full darkside . He actually had Light in him not everything Dooku did is bad. He actually did Good When you do good you have the lightside. Even a little light can be enough to light a fire. The truth is darkness doesn't like Light

@@lightnihilus At the point of Qui-Gon's death he had already been meeting with Sidious I imagine. I remember hearing about that and knew that Sidious wanted Qui-Gon out of the way but never read the comic, but I believe that eventually Palpatine would have succeeded in goading Dooku over in some way had Qui-Gon survived, but I doubt Dooku would try to directly attack him as he saw Qui-Gon as a son. I believe he would try to find some way to kill Obi-Wan, but Qui-Gon would likely be the most difficult Jedi to turn to the dark side, if it is possible at all (even with Obi-Wan's death. I think in the end if Qui-Gon did survive he'd eventually find a way to turn Dooku back to the light if he ever did turn.

One important subject I hope is addressed in a future part is who controls the death star in this timeline. It's possible (unlikely but possible) Maul might not know of it, as Sideous knew not to give every detail to every apprentice. But assuming he does know and has it on his to-do list, he'd most likely run with an unstable version that poses just as much a threat to himself as his enemies. Dooku and the separatists were actively working on It's foundation all throughout the war; and with the absence of Palps they'd dump what resources they have left into it as a sort of last ditch intimidation tactic. Could even be one of Palps' secret backup plans that the death star be AI operated lol. So many interesting possibilities.

Perhaps if the Nightsisters were already on Mandalore to help quell the Mandalore rebellion and Sidious happened to walk into not only Savage and Maul but Mother Talzin and Asajj. It might make them being able to kill Sidious more believable. This would also make their mop up of Bo Katan's rebellion a lot cleaner allowing them greater control over their sector when the Jedi arrive looking for Chancellor Palpatine. I would say that Sidious should still be able to fell Savage and Talzin. And severely injuring Maul and Ventress before Maul finally ends him. With the Nightsisters of Dathomir and Supercommandos of Mandalore coming back to Maul's HQ to all 5 force wielders incapacitated; Savage, Talzin and Sidious dead and Maul wounded and unconscious and Ventress with several limbs torn off but still conscious. Later on it can be explained that Sidious' grave miscalculation is down to betrayal by Dooku and Grievous who knew of the Nightsister presence on Mandalore but assured Sidious that Maul and Savage were alone. With Dooku having to use all of his will to cloud Sidious' mind to the danger he brazenly walked into alone so much so that he would come close to death himself. Obviously directed by Quentin Tarantino and not a Disney logo in sight.

Instantly on my favorite Star What Ifs! Easily taking a place next to the likes of Mama Soka, Thrawn becoming Emperor, Palpatine winning at Rise of Skywalker, Ahsoka joining Maul and Yuuzhan Vong invading during the Clone Wars! Most are from other KZbin channels but still right up there! I can totally see how this single act woukd chabge the galaxy radically, causing one hell of a chain reaction. I kinda want to see what a full fledged Mando-Sith Empire would look like under Maul, or better yet Maul in Mandalorian armor. Shame we never got to see his own set of Beskar though idea imagine the horns would make it difficult for him to wear the helmet. Also love the Savage crossguard lightsaber, always loved his lightsaber and now its even cooler! Great job as always!

Honestly love how this event happened and definitely perfer this idea of palpatine contingency plans than operation cinder, will say I like maul has a crossguard as with jedi survivor basically turning it into the strongest yet slowest lightsabre, it fits savage style

So this is an idea of a what if scenario I have that is based on a comic called What if Our Heroes Were Lost in Carbonite? Which was published in the Clone Wars Titan Magazine #6 in 2011. Basically, the scenario begins in the second year of combat in the Clone Wars. Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ashoka, Cody, Rex, Waxer, Boil, Longshot, Echo, Fives, and Charger leave for the Citadel to rescue Even Piell. They are all frozen in carbonite to trick the life scanners, and they have to trust R2-D2 to get them to their destination. But in this scenario, the hyperdrive malfunctions so the ship crashes into an uninhabited planet. 14 years later, the Ghost crew are being chased by imperial forces, and they have to land on an uninhabited planet to buy enough time to figure out a plan to get their pursuers off their tail. What they discover just might save them. Also, I think Luke and Leia still exist somehow. Maybe they were just conceived? And the main imperial enforcer is the Pau’un Darth Frage.
