The thing about minato that I like firstly was his appearance,that hokage cloak tho, plus the way his spiky hair went down his side burns but at the same time, sitting on the collar of the cloaks as if a statue, somewhat of hope and belonging somewhat. But if you look pass the cloak, he has on the jounin suit which shows a climb up in rank but mentaining identity as if to prove that hard work and talent can go hand-in-hand. Then it's his personality that is a sort of a cool, calm, mild tolerant yet war hardened man that takes shit serious. On top of that he was very brave person who sort of downplay himself sometimes. What I like about him is that he doesn't see himself as much, he sees himself as a normal person with nothing really all special about him, which he is kinda, especially when you compare him to the other hokage, but yet he is one of the hokage, as a matter of fact he's in the top 5 hokage and probably top 10 of all kage of all time, feared by all nation's, slaughter over 1000 shinobi and was for a while the fastest shinobi ever. And even though he was all of these things, you can never see it on him. He's always smiling, never really speaks a lot, downplay himself and humbles himself all the time.

The most logical choices were Izuna and Kagami. Izuna was Madara’s supposed dead brother but could’ve been saved somehow and faked his death, Kagami was the Third Hokage and Danzo’s former teammate and Tobi seemed to oddly spite Danzo. Or it was Obito, someone who would still be young enough and in his prime to pull everything off that he did. It was obviously Obito from the character’s debut, especially since they have Tobi the goofy persona that was oddly similar to Obito as a kid.

He's still have massive chakra reserves due to his heritage. He'd have way better chakra control, but he wouldn't be able to spam Kage Bunshin. He'd probably be able to use Rasengan without Kage Bunshin since he'd have better chakra control. In the three year time skip, Jiraiya might try to teach him some Fūton jutsu or even Hiraishin. Naruto would also probably awaken another chakra nature after training with the toads. I can see either fire, water, or lightning release. Fire because Jiraiya, Water because Kushina (genetics), and Lightning because of Minato (also genetics). He'd be weaker, but way more skilled. Also Sage Mode.

Given Minato has none of Hiruzen's sentimentality towards him and how much stronger and faster he is than him wouldn't Orochimaru be dead after his experiments are found out and Danzo with him if Tenzo/Yamato/Kinoe still rats his connection to Danzo out? I mean he didn't abandon the village until three years post Kyuubi Attack and was known to have connections to Danzo anyway. Also considering the climate of the world, wouldn't Minato call/force Jiraiya and Tsunade and Shizune back to the village as well? Also with no stigma on Naruto wouldn't Kakashi, the Hokage's bodyguards, Jiraiya, and many others be rushing to help train him if Minato is too busy, leading him to be one of the early graduates? By the way, just realized this means no Hyuga incident, Hizashi is alive, Neji isn't a prick, and because there's no need to become an avenger, Sasuke is technically going to be weaker at first. Wait, wouldn't Zabuza still be ruthless regardless of whether Obito put Yagura in a genjutsu? Zabuza & Kakashi are the same age when they meet. So that means when Obito "died", Zabuza already graduated from his academy. Meaning he already killed all his classmates to graduate. Even if he graduated later than 12 years old, Obito was 14 when he attacked the Hidden Lead the 1st time, meaning that he had to be in his late teens, at least, when he put Yagura in a genjutsu, so Zabuza had to have graduated by 14 lol. You're highly mistaken. Adult Obito is way more powerful than this version. Look at the growth of Kakashi from Zabuza arc to War arc. Obito was already way above KCM2 Naruto level who is already above Hokage Minato level. Also Adult Obito is extremely cunning and way more tactical. He would fake Minato into attacking him and catch him off guard like he did against Fu and Torune. Most importantly, he didn't use any attack in this fight against Minato. If he had used woodstyle Minato would've died instantly when they made initial contact.

It always seem that minato never see himself being as strong as he was, but feats and lore states otherwise and because of minato behavior that makes him seem weaker than the other hokage who has a sort of presence about them example tobirama, hashirama, Tsunade,fourth raikage etc, All that gives minato a presence is the way he looks, the hokage cloak. This is symbolic nothing to something path if you think about it. He's such a beast, top tier shinobi one of the best of any generation,but yet it's just a little kid with yellow hair, a regular Joe blow almost and I always thought that to be really incredible about minato character. The other hokage has this"I am here" vibe about them and I think that's why people like them more so than minato and think that the other hokage claps him, when in reality, only hashirama and naruto are better than minato in my opinion. One of the coolest character in the entire series. One of the best and most powerful, yet one of the most content and humble character in the series and I think that's beautiful, he reminds me of shanks from one piece and they are very much alike and are both badasses without a doubt.

Really? Cause Kakashi and Guy were a lot taller and if I’m not mistaken Kakashi was in the anbu at that point. Naruto was still a twinkle in Minatos eye when Kakashi joined the anbu. I always thought Rin died a year after Obito and that’s when they both received MS. Minato would be soft on Obito not letting ibiki pressure him for info or anyone from the yamanaka clan get into his head. I agree with u that Madara might’ve placed traps in Obito’s body and that would create the risk of killing him in the process something Minato doesn’t want. Obito would eventually give in as Minato talks about what happened and if that’s what Rin would’ve wanted but even so I don’t think it would be that easy given the uchiha’s huge hatred
