WHOA!!! This would be SO AMAZING! It would add an entirely new social aspect to the game, not to mention creative interior decorating. We could still use F2 to get our high-res screenshots for posting OUTSIDE the game, but being able to have this in-game would be super cool! Especially since it's not expensive to craft... If this were made by any other hack, you KNOW it would take, like, a nether star to craft or something...

When I first saw this, I thought it wouldn't work. However, when I saw the video I see the potential. Perhaps Mojang could find a way to make camera's a bit more "minecrafty" if you know what I mean. The modern camera doesn't really fit with the minecraft feel.

Maybe it could use things like an Eye of ender and quartz crystals,as if the camera was a "mystical eye" using "mystical lenses" that records what it sees using magic. Also,the pocket edition once had it,we coud have that cool block back

Honestly, this is amazing! The only thing I would change is the texture of the camera in the inventory. Because right now, it doesn't look that "minecraft-y". Next to all the other items, it does stand out a little. But still, if it was never changed, it would still be awesome!

Great concept! However, a few suggestions; • Maybe the Camera’s photos could be dipped into a pixelation filter to keep it more Minecraft-y. • I think the modern camera doesn’t really fit - maybe it could be crafted with quartz and an eye of ender instead cuz of the whole eye thing? Overall, a really cool concept!

It would be cooler if the picture and camera item worked like maps so you could see what the picture will look like without clicking. It would also be nice if the resolution dropped to fit the pixel style of Minecraft.

Hey tango, I know hermitcraft is strictly vanilla with the exception of texture packs and optifine, but I really think this would be a great feature to add to season 6. Imagine momento rooms with this mod! I don’t think it would detract from the vanilla experience, but just make a cool little addition for all the hermits to use. And also, as a fellow programmer, I really respect how much time and energy you put into these. Keep up the good work!

There was something like the camera in Minecraft poket addition. In my school we have school iPads to use in class if you don’t have your own device, and during time where you can just mess around we were allowed to play on devices. The school iPads had ‘Minecraft education’ where you had to have an education account to play. In-game you could place down a camera, and upon pressing it, it would start a countdown and face your direction. It would take a photo from it’s prospective and you’d have to get an item called a ‘portfolio’ that would show you every photo you took.

This 100% needs to be added to Minecraft. On top of pictures, galleries and videos, photos in these frame could serve as pretty accurate mirrors. Maybe even add a function of the photos in a frame that when you click on them the image flips, similar to how items in item frames turn when clicked. Another awesome 'What If?' TT

Honestly, the fact you can create moving images is amazing! Imagine if you could combine two recordings together, to sort of edit them together. Perhaps you could make a loop playing on a TV. Or hell, go further and do Hogwarts style paintings.

I think one thing you should add is being able to use the recording part of he camera and any other item so you could record what you doing. Say like you use your camera recording function and use another item to make a cool scene of an epic fights with mobs, pvp, fighting a boss, or even a building montage! And one cool touch to add would be having a small camera that goes on the top of your head on that goes on any part of head wear that is visible by any player.

Notch did have an idea so long ago about customizable paintings. Everyone was excited, but he scrapped it unfortunately. It was such a great idea for pixel artists. Hoping Mojang would go back to that idea. I’d very well love it.

Amazing mod! You do some astounding things, but I think there's one critical thing you could change to take this to the next level. POV or focal length in photography terms. As amazed as I am at this mod, I find the pictures themselves unimpressive, and I think that has to do with the fact that the pictures just look like screenshots. If you ever do a Camera 2.0 mod, I think it'd be a great idea to add a custom UI to it so the camera is a tool that you actively use. You look down the viewfinder by right clicking, you change the focal length by pressing the up or down arrow keys, and take the picture by left clicking. Now I don't know how possible this would be, but also adding depth of field would make this mod god level, and the resulting images insanely good. Either way, keep up the amazing work!
