I think Simisear is based on Bosozoku (Japanese biker gangs) that’s why it has its hands like that so it looks like it revving a motorbike. This ties back to the Hear no Evil monkey as motorbikes are notoriously loud and some Bosozoki swap out the stock muffler of a motorbike to make them even louder. Isn’t it crazy how such a simple looking Pokémon has such deep origins

Exactly the Simian Trio is inspired by Japanese delinquent culture, and Simipour isn't inspired by Hippies but more likely by Sukeban (delinquent girl gang) and Kogyaru clothing style, modified high school uniform with various hairstyle, make-up and shortened skirts (a sub-culture centered around Shibuya and Harajuku). This ties to "See no Evil" and Simipour design since this kind of cothing is consider as provoking (they "show" their "evilness"), especially short skirt which Simipour seems to have.

This was fun. Since we're still waiting on any new official news regarding Legends Z-A, and Kalos is the region that has the most Missed Opportunities (for various reasons), it could be fun to see what we can do to remedy that. Among those missed opportunities is a Pokemon based the Tarrasque, a monster from the lore of Southern France (that is also a super boss monster in games like D&D). And given the theming Kalos's starters have as references to core RPG classes, in conjunction with Kalos's France coding, a Pokemon based on the Tarrasque makes a lot of sense. Now, our current understanding of Legends Z-A is that we will be confined to Lumious City (and possibly its immediate surrounding area) as we help to build it up in the renovations, which is good when consider how empty Lumious looked and felt in X and Y, but what if we did something to further expand the Kalos region for a theoretical remake/revision of X and Y as well, which allow us to add in some more areas and expand the Pokedex to make it not quite as lacking as it was in X and Y?

In other media (I'm getting this from my favorite game Cult of the Lamb) there's an interpretation of the phrase "Think No Evil", which is represented by the five main bosses in the game. The blind one (Leshy) is See No Evil, the female (Heket) is Speak No Evil, the deaf one (Kallamar) is Hear No Evil, the spider (Shamura) is the aformentioned Think No Evil, and the final boss (Narinder) is Do No Evil. I would love to see a Think No Evil interpretation of an elemental monkey. I'm thinking maybe Psychic-type because that's the big brain type

While I don't like people perpetuating the idea that "Ghost-Type = Undead, Afterlife, Actual Ghosts", these designs are great. Pansoul and Simisoul make me want that "Elemental Monkey" of every type even more. (And for everyone arguing that it wouldn't work because of the "3-wise-monkeys" thing: Pansage keeps his mouth open like a turkey under the rain and Pansear is always bringing his hands to his ears like a nosy neighbor.)

I feel that while being a ghost type does not necessarily mean those things, many of them are in fact tied to the afterlife and actual ghosts. Aegisteel, Dragapult, Dusknoir, Cofagrigus, Houndstone, Spiritomb, Trevenant, Gourgeist, Brambleghast, and Basculegion are just some of the Pokémon that are tied to these themes. I believe that the afterlife and state of being undead/reincarnated are staple concepts of the ghost type.

Not all Ghost types are undead. Oricorio and Alolan Marrowak, and possibly Hissuian(Shinohnian) Typholsian would be examples of mediums or spirit callers. I think a ghost type Eeveelution would also fit the same theming where it summons Ghost types and serves as an omen not to involve a medium's curse lest it be chanting curses that cause the offended to be haunted.

I think that since there are 4 wise monkeys that may claim that the triplets were actually quadruplets and Clair would be their sister. The clues are that the triplets main pokemons are the monkeys and that all ther names starts with "C", Clair could dissapear, somethin' happened to her and turned into Pansoul and now she's roaming her home city. All that is just my theory and that mey or may not be more or less accurate to what story the artist have made for that fakemon 'cause the triplets never had a sister in the offical game/anime etc.

I know this may sound a bit gritty and/or edgy, but my idea for a Ghost-Type regional Variant would be one for Togekiss, who witnessed so much conflict and turmoil happening in the world, that they had to kill themselves en masse, by flying to the nearest oceans and dropping dead from sadness, causing them to be reborn as Ghost-Type Pokemon, now devoid of the happiness they once had.

Honestly needs to be an evolution given how that rampant Floof of Legend broke out. If you win 20 double battles with Scareon and Doublade, Scareon evolves into Durraber (Dullahan+Durandal+Excalibur) - A Ghost/Steel Type with the ability Promised Victory (Turn all Super Effective Moves into Ineffective Moves when attacked) Durraber has its inspiration based off of 3 things - Centaurs (of which comes the Dullahan part, as Durraber's very protective of the head that can easily be removed), Zombies (both as a reference towards it's Ghost Type, and also how striking down the head kills a Zombie (or knock out Durraber in one strike)) and heroes of ancient legend - notably King Arthur and Roland (whom have their swords (Excalibur and Durandal respectfully) stolen from their rightful places) Symbolized and revered as a living calamity, Durraber wields both its swords with grace capable of slaying an army of thousands. Legends say of a man who stole Durraber's swords in a risky gamble, and with these blades sealed the Pokemon within an Ancient Stone. As of recently, the stone has shattered, and both blades have gone missing indicating that Durraber has broken free from its imprisonment.

I think that's because it's not that you don't know the cat is in there. Actually Schrodinger's cat wasn't explained right here. The actual thing is a cat being sealed in a box with a toxic substance, the concept of Schrodinger's cat isn't knowing if the cat is in there or not, it's the not knowing if the cat is alive or dead whether due to the toxic stuff or not, I'm sorry if I've explained it confusingly, I'm not good at explaining stuff But I really have never thought the concept was knowing if the cat was in the box or not, I've always thought it was the cat's current status of whether being alive or dead, it being a complete limbo till you open it
