With an Earth Pony Naruto with hidden powers in the narrative, he could be what Spike couldn't by being the "middleman Or stallion" to better direct the Mane 6 flaws & more sporadic decisions like in the later seasons , where they start acting a bit more out of character , mostly Rainbow Dash , Pinkie Pie, Apple Jack, Twilight and Discord.
