I mean naruto is already a prodigy in cannon. Here's how at the age of 12 or 14 he learned shadow clones which is a forbidden justsu which was put there by hashirama himself. Who kept the literal bijuu as pets and was going to sell them for free. Also he learned the rasengan in a month or less which aside from ftg was minato's signature justsu. Though it did take him 2 and 1/2 years later to fully master it. Which is still faster than his father. And if it weren't for kurama messing up his charkra control and just the general seal minato placed on him he probably would've learned the rasengan even faster. That goes with every charkra control exercise he's done also at the age of 16 he created his own S-rank ninjustu, in fact it was so powerful that tsunade a medic nin thought it should be in the scroll of sealing and then subsequently put in the scroll of sealing. Also he has so much chakra that even without the kyuubi he still made atleast 1,000 shadow clones. I don't think that he's on the same level of genius as sasuke or neji but to say that he's completely talentless is an understatement.

I was pretty certain that amaterasu was just Itachi's Mangekyo like Sasuke can use it but only after he Gets itachi's eyes his Mangekyo is Flame Control which allows him to shape fire which he can then use on the amaterasu to make amaterasu arrows and such
