... there are a lot of issues with your what-if. So let's start with some bullets about what you establish about Naruto: •Trained from a young age to master his chakra control •Signed the Monkey summoning contract •Top 10 in terms of power before the Chunin Exams •Raised in the ANBU •Has no problem killing if need be Okay, so that's what you established as Naruto's character. How did he struggle against a partially transformed part 1 pre-Sasuke Retrieval Arc Gaara? His canon self was dogging a partially transformed Gaara, this should have been a complete wash, he shouldn't have struggled even a tiny bit against a character so massively weaker than him, yet you're saying that he needed to reinforce his hits to fight Gaara? It makes no sense. Naruto, as you established him, would have ripped Kabuto into tiny pieces and then ripped those tiny pieces into tiny pieces, not just knocking him out. It makes no sense. Naruto spent his entire life training and was an ANBU captain, which is impossible on its own since you have to be a Chūnin to join the ANBU, and still needs to prove to Kakashi that he can do the tree walking exercise, for some reason. Naruto has access to the Hiraishin, learned the Rasengan, can use at minimum 3 of the 5 normal nature transformations as well as genjutsu, and yet he never uses any of it really. He uses Purple Lightning once against the Demon Brothers, uses a Fireball to signal Jiraiya, and never uses it in battle. Based on his new character, the one you established, it doesn't fit. He would use everything in his arsenal to drag his nuts across the face of anyone he fights. Now for the story: Sasuke never has that moment with Haku on the bridge, meaning he didn't awaken his Sharingan, meaning it isn't in his personnel file, meaning Kabuto can't tell Orochimaru, meaning there's absolutely no reason for Orochimaru to go after Sasuke or give him a curse mark. This completely nullifies your entire thruline with Sasuke. Sage Mode is only banned during the Chūnin Exams that Naruto takes after the series ends, not all of them. It would be illogical to ban Sage Mode in the Genin Exams because no normal Genin, even an extremely powerful one, would have access to Sage Mode. To have Sage Mode, you need to either have a contract with a Summon race and be taught it in their realm or learn it naturally and the only person who does that is Hashirama in the entire series, or be part of Jugo's clan and gain the Curse Mark malformations on the body. It makes no sense to exclude Naruto from the exams since you didn't change anything until the finals anyway. In conclusion: I think you're trying way too hard to stick to the established canon to keep your stories coherent. When you switch anything around, you lose your point and lose the plot you were trying to build consistently, and even the minor changes you make still force the story to adhere to the Canon storyline for some reason and end up with potholes and constant contradictions. I can tell from some of your off the script commentary that you are passionate about the series and making content. You're not bad at it, but you need a lot of work at it. Also the voices are cringy as hell. But I guess everyone needs a quirk in the content creation series
