If they were reincarnations madara and hashirama could never have been brought back with edo tensei because they're souls would allready be in use. Naruto being Madara's reincarnation would be cool, because that would mean Madara would disapear and would live through naruto, maybe naruto would want to complete madara's dream instinctively.
