I find it an interesting concept to imagine a melting pot of various aliens, humans,oodles battle droid models, alpha and omega clones. Being lead by former CIS and Republic commanders. Luke, Maul, General Grievous and Anakin (trynna redeem himself) fighting against the empire. Whist attempting to reforge a democracy.

It depends sometimes on the content creator and their particular beliefs on what a character is capable of, under different circumstances and sometimes it's that the particular story they want to tell makes a slight alteration to what might be considered acceptable canon. I've listened to other stories where Mas took over, upon Palpatine's death and was completely ineffective due to not being an all powerful, manipulative and genius sith and politician. The Empire quickly crumbled. I've also seen stories where Tarkin both did well as chancellor and ruled the galaxy with an iron fist and others where he failed as chancellor due to being a political novice and not being able to navigate the tricky early days when Palpatine still needed to consolidate power, despite already being Emperor. Tldr, I don't think any viewpoint is invalid, I think we just enjoy the stories and judge ourselves whether we believe they're compatible with our own head canon, lol.

Ive watched countless videos, with this premise and most of them do something unique to there take on the story, so I look forward to seeing your take. perticuly, Obi-one, Dooku, Ashoka and Maul`s reaction to the deaths of Anakin and Sidious. And how they die as well, direct or indirect. What if Darth Zannah was a Jedi? Either she refrains from killing the Jedi who originally comes for her, or another Jedi takes her instead soon after, assuming Bane doesn't find her or a twin of some kind exists. She undergoes training until she becomes a Jedi Knight or perhaps even a Jedi Master. Then, she receives one of two visions. The first vision portrays Anakin or Luke as the chosen one. She believes in the prophecy and enters stasis, intending to train them to confront Palpatine during the Clone Wars or the time of the Empire. The second vision involves Palpatine himself, maybe as the Emperor. Believing that she is the chosen one due to this, she enters stasis until the Clone Wars, awakened by the Force or some other catalyst. To fight him herself. To maintain her characterization as the Zannah we know and love, she excels as a master of Form Three and is proficient in Jedi Alchemy or sorcery, perhaps even both. I think the second vision would make for a better story, as training Anakin/Luke videos are already abundant on your channel. (Day 60)

What if after saving Grogu, Kelleran Beq waited to bring Grogu to Yoda until he was on Dagobah, resulting in the training of Grogu via Yoda and Master Beq. In this scenario I could see other Jedi such as Luke and Leia, Galen Marek, Gungi, Cal kestis ect (maybe even Obi-wan and Ahsoka. Basically what if the Jedi slowly regrouped on Dagobah and reformed into a reformed Jedi order.. the grey order.. Led by the surviving Master of the order Mace Windu. This order has accepted that growth is in the balance of light and dark.

I'm surprised Padmé survived childbirth in this one. If anything, I'd think she'd lose her will to live even faster. Maybe not be able to give birth to Leia, or possibly either of her children. If that were the case, i imagine the audience would have been left confused and struggling to connect the dots between the two trilogies. Such a massive plot hole caused by the event would have rightly called into question whether or not the first trilogy and the prequal trilogy even shared a common canon, likely leading to a much needed 4th installment tailored specifically to fill the gap. Since this came from an era where the long-term brand perception of such an eduring IP valued by the studio, every effort would have been made to ensure that a coherent and satifying story would be forged across multiple formats in order to fill the gap and cement the prequal trilogy in place alongside the origenal story in the minds of the audiance.

A thought occurred to me when Ben was sent to purify thst temple.... Is there a specific reason (like say, arrogance) why the Council never opted to perform a purification in Anakin when he first showed up? And if that was on the table, why couldn't Qui-Gon do it - or at least do it to some extent to the point that the council would see how effective it was on a 9 year old child? Just a thought.

I'm not sure if the Jedi do purification like in the video -- I kinda thought it was cool lol. But if they do, I'd say the reason they didn't was because they didn't believe Anakin was inherently evil. He was rejected simply for being too old -- there was the fear thing, but that's not "evil" per se. But I'm sure if they did, it would've been effective, maybe they didn't because it would interfere with free will?

@@PentePatrolStarWars I was thinking about purification in the sense of drawing out the darkness. I'm sure Yoda is old enough to know what sith artifacts can do...so surely there'd be Jedi artifacts that could do the opposite....at the very least, inside the temple. Just as the sith can pour out the darkness into an altar..... Artifact(s) could draw in or absorb the darkness for clarity of the Jedi. Or they could radiate the light side. Though for those that are inherently more dark that could cause discomfort(the radiance). Surely the Jedi would have the means to combat or stave off the darkness rather than turning away and or killing someone for it. They're supposed to be better than that. Yes, Anakin had much fear in him. Rather than being harsh/critical of the boy as he grew up in the Temple and in the Clone Wars - it's a shame no one taught him hoe to truly face and conquer his fears. If they had done that Sidious would have had a lot more difficulty even planting seeds in Anakin. In that sense - the Jedi didn't just fail Anakin, they failed Obi-Wan. The council as a whole didn't prepare Obi-Wan, but individually - Shaak Ti, Plo, Mace, and Yoda failed them the most in my opinion. I believe Shaak Ti(especially her) and Mace would have and the means to draw out and handle Anakin's dark side issues as well as his emotional state. The rest failed Obi-Wan in preparing him in taking on a student especially given how it came to be. Ben could have been everything Anakin needed, but he wasn't prepared. He let Anakin get away with things and he was less mindful of his apprentice and those he associated with more than he should have. I guess in one way less about purification and more about confronting the failures of the Jedi. Points of views as it were. I'll end the rambling here. At least I caught myself this time...

@@Tmhjr_Baskar Absolutely. It's kinda frustrating how the Jedi seemingly do everything in spite of themselves lol, because they have plenty of chances to make right of their situation. I do agree though, the entire Council (even some of the better members) are entirely to blame though. I think if they could beat the complacency of their own failures then perhaps they would have a shot at not being destroyed lol

With such a large government and with a unicameral legislature, the chancellor had too much power and only had to be popular with the elite senators. More independent republic worlds like ryloth that were unhappy with the republic, but also did not like the separatist's should have become independent. The sepratists, after giving up invaded worlds and dissolving the executive council of corporations, should have become legitimized, replacing the council with a president. Then the smaller republic, independent worlds, and CIS, could join a Galactic Alliance of systems. This focuses on trade and a military defense treaty.
