Quirks of each starter (because it wouldn’t be One Piece without them): -Charpaw's behavior depends on its trainer’s gender: if it’s a male trainer, it sometimes refuses to listen to them, often ignoring them or doing the complete opposite. If it’s a female trainer, however, it blindly obeys with gleeful enthusiasm. This also means it refuses to attack any female Pokémon, even when it has a huge advantage on them. -Voltkit tend to use whatever means necessary to get what it wants, including it’s adorable appearance to entice people and other Pokémon to do what it wants, including stealing food and shiny objects for itself, then ditches them to save itself. the missed opportunity to give sanji an ability exclusive to him "gentlemen" "entering battle with a female opponent causes the "attract" move effect. causing him to miss 50% of the time. 25% reduced damage to females by default." while you could just swap out if a female is swapped in, if that seems like to much of a nerf "50% dmg reduction to females, 75% boost to males."

Well Sucker Punch is not a Punching Move the Japanese translation for Sucker punch is Surprise Attack which goes Quite well For Sanji as he had Ability to be Invisible and Attack Form Anywhere

Can already picture Usopp as a long horned beetle that uses rubbery vines and it's "nose horn" as a slingshot. Either Bug/Fighting or Bug/Grass, with decent Special Stats, since it likes to strike from afar and has some good reflexes thanks to his observation haki. It's gotta have Rattled, I mean, it's based on Usopp. Hidden ability Sniper. Mega Evolution based on Sogeking, Sniper would be a good fit, but Adaptability is much more powerful of an option, and fits Usopp quite well. M-Evo would have improved defenses and SpAtk, and be Bug/Fighting. That weakness to Flying could foreshadow a powerful rivalry with a Van Augur inspired mon, that I could see looking like a serious looking seagull with Long Reach.

i think chopper could be a pikaclone with an ability that lets it change form if it eats one of several special berries when it enters a battle, and each form has different stats (guard point is very good defensively but slow as hell, horn point is a sweeper, etc.)

What Pokemon would you give to the strawhead crew . Luffy: Gets Melmetal because it also stretches to hit its opponents plus with its steel body it perfectly represents Haki and Gear 4. Zoro: gets Aegislash because he uses cursed swords if I understood correctly. Nami: gets Absol because it can predict natural disasters for her. Usoop : Gets Intelleon because it represents his evolution from coward to great sniper. Sanji: Gets Blaziken for its burning kicks and the fact that it can learn flying attacks like Sanji can fly. Chopper: Gets Blissey as a nurse. Robin: Gets Runerigus because it goes well with her love of glyphs and her creepy nature but I would also like to give her a Garchomp because she reminds me of Cynthia. Franky: gets Golork because of his cyborg body and somehow it fits the two of them for me. Brook: Gets Toxitricity because of its guitar and that it can learn ghost attacks. That is my opinion for every member

But i think if nami should be electric/psychic instead due to her ability to percieve weather changes (like alolan raichu) The type change from electric/ice to electric/water would be a bit strange. But she would be able to access moves like blizzard and drizzle, and double team... Sanji could also have access to fighting type and flying type moves like (all the kicking type moves ang high jump) and aerial ace. Luffy would also have access to bullet punch, fire and thunder punch as well... Please do the other strawhats as well!! Chopper i think would be a pure normal then normal/fairy when evolved just like the ones we find in pokemon centers assissting nurse joy Ussop would be bug/grass becauae kabuto and pop greens but would have acceaa to some fire type attacks... Robin is fairy or fairy/grass (fleur means flower) or dark/fairy or grass( her demonio fleur) Franky would be steel/electric because hes a cyborg and lasers and attacks with flash cannon hyperbeam and solar beam Brook is definately ghost/ice And Jimbei is water/Fighting What do you think? 😊

Luffy's pokemon form should have had a dex entry stating that Gumfist are handed down a strawhat woven by a guardian-like figure and they protect it with their lives waiting for a day to return the hat. That way we could have him wearing a straw hat which is very much a core part of luffy. Also Elastirangs tail looks very weird dute to the color and the positioning. The Sulhouette is pretty sus :))

Great video. Normally, I would have Zoro (Grass/Steel), Sanji (Fire/Flying), and Jinbe (Water/Fighting) as the Starter Pokémons, but what you showed for the 1st few SH are good. As for Luffy, i believe Gear 4th should be his final evolution while Gear 5th is its Mega form. Plus, instead of Fairy, why not make it part Normal Type with the ability to change into any Type it wants like Arceus!?
