@orcasrulethesea62513 жыл бұрын
I was about to comment this myself!
@vincentpey39293 жыл бұрын
Oh man i wanted to comment that, oh well so here s another cool monitor lizard fact, the mosasaurus was actually just a really distinct relative of monitor lizards, its assumed that monitor lizards went into the sea during the crotacious because dinosaurs where so dominant on land and the only niche that was available to them was hunting small fish in the sea, eventually evolution did its thing and it became giant and the most dominant sea creature of the late crotacious. That would actually make for a cool pokemon now that i think of it, it could start as some little ground dragon type lizard that could have split evolutions into land and water based lizards one ending up as something akin to a megalania and the other leading to a mosasaurus like pokemon.

If gen 9 were to be based off as Australia, I have good ideas for the starters. The Grass starter should be based as a wallaby joey. For it's final evolution, it will take inspiration from an ancient marsupial species call Procoptodon. For my Fire starter, it should be based as an Australian White Sheep, filling the sheep slot of the Chinese zodiac. For my water starter, it should be based on the Platypus. For it's final evolution, it's tail should act like battle-axe. For the final evolved forms' typing, The grass starters: Fighting. The fire starters: Fairy. The water starters: Steel. I absolutely love all of these. And just like I expected from an Australian Based Region, this Region has the most diverse and deadly species of Pokémon. Just the wildlife of Australia in real life. And the mythology and modern folklore and current event references and inspiration are all perfect. Even if a lot of are dark and disturbing. Particularly Kittoxen, Sealine, Leocean, Hahayena, Hymaniac, Wallabeat, Greaseroo, Parasitegg, Eggluton, Ornithocœur, Tiburrown, Echidart, Jackindle, Flufflare, Lùtù, Applore, Corerupt, Terrainah, Natcises, Yawkyuck, Piscuba, Laghoul, Mimikyu (again), Sepamthera, Sawin, Chaimaw, Jawsaw, Clobbapus, Medusoct, Abyshark, Bobbite, Tynamo, Eelektrik, Eelektross, Erupole, Bombufo, Yamask, Babarigus, Grimer, and Vegemuk. But I still love almost all of them and only am scared of are the following. Hymaniac: as much as I want to love it and be friends with it and teach it how to be nice to others, it's instincts are to deliberately cause fear and suffering as a form of amusment. To say it's like Pennywise is an understatement. It is Carnivorous Coloraphobia incarnate. I would have to be very brave and bond strongly with it before it evolved. Because if I didn't . . . I would probably literally be consumed by my worst fear as in becoming a Nightmares fuel. All the evolved forms of Terrainah: Piranhas are deadly and scary enough, Sirens are deadly and scary enough, ghosts are deadly and scary enough. Combine all three of those things together with the fact I'm a guy who can't swim AND the male final Evolution likes to "pretend that it's victims are a part of it's family" is absolutely terrifyingly deadly beyond non-legendary Pokémon Standards. Brainwashing (literally with dirty water) and other very dirty fears come to mind. Medusoct: A Gorgon from Greek Mythology crossed with a Blue Ringed Octopus (the most venomous octopus ever) and the Mimic Octopus (the most intelligent octopus ever). Need I say more? Bobbite: The chances of encountering a Bobbit Worm are almost non-existent because they live so deep under the ocean that humans couldnt survive the amount of pressure. Plus I can't swim so I'm never going into the ocean and would only be at risk riding on a boat or plane. But this is a fire breathing undersea volcano Bobbit Worm that could probably show up on land. I have every right to scared. Yamask and especially Babarigus: Yamask has always been very dark and disturbing. But every one of it's different Evolutions are downright evil when it comes to their predatory behaviors. And suposedly it's different alternate Evolutions are human spirits who have taken over by a different cursed object. And the fact that all of them used to be humans makes it even more mortifying. But an Evolution that's THE LITERAL BOOGYMAN AND IF YOU READ ANYTHING IN YAMASK OR BABARIGUS'S CURSED HORROR BOOKS, THEY COME TO LIFE!?!? This is literally what happens when R.L Stein's Book is opened in the Goosebumps movie. Every ghost, monster, demon and fear becomes a reality!!!! This just might be the SINGLE MOST CATACLYSMIC POKÉMON IN EXISTENCE! Not even Legendary Pokémon are immune to fear. Every living creature with sentience fears something. And in mythology, even GODS feared some Humans, Titans, and Eldridge Horrors. Grimer and Vegemuk: They are literally the blob that ate everything but made out of a constantly mutating, yeast producing, very unpopular food product. I seriously hope that there are actually enough people who actually like Vegemite. Because if there isn't, we're going to be deadly sick. But I would seriously love these to be used in a Pokémon Fan Game.

i had this idea for a fire grass type called Warriter (warrior/warratah) which would either evolve or change forms when burned, based off the waratah flower which had a tendency to bloom after forest fires, plus it tied back into indigenous aboriginal culture too, as its pokedex entry would state that it would backburn during colder seasons in a similar fashion to firestick farming

I wanna know how the smeargle works, like I imagine it has a variant of sketch still right? Maybe one that also locks the enemy from using that move ala Disable? Maybe their hidden ability resets a learned move at 0pp to sketch (or let's call it wrangle here) Also obviously it needs abilities that affect fleeing/switching pokemon

46:37 I can’t believe the madlad did it, he made a tatzelwurm Pokémon. By the way, the types of the Line absolutely fit a Tatzelwurm.

I'm usually a no-questions-fire-starter player, but with these the Grass type really speaks to me as well and I'd be absolutely torn between the two. The route one rodent looks darn cute and I'd absolutely keep that cute doggo on my team as well 🥰
