This video tries to answer a hypothetical question. If it was Poland, instead of Ukraine, invaded on February 24th, how would it fare? Assuming NATO is involved only as much as it got involved in Ukraine, how would that war go?
Our video on Polish re-armament can be viewed here: • Poland on course to be...

*You should be very careful with using Wikipedia, especially for Poland's military - there's a user called FOX 52 who's actively trolling the Polish Air Force page as one example. AEGIS ashore is almost completed in Radzikowo, Poland however FOX 52 removes that info, and puts up completely inaccurate info about air defense.*

By making a fantasy video about the war in Ukraine, which is ongoing, you are affectively profiting off of the death of innocent civilians. The only reason this video is relevant, the only reason you made it now is because of an ongoing war in Ukraine where Ukrainians are being slaughtered. That’s the only reason people are going to click on it like they are, that’s why I’m accusing you of being a war profiteer. Take this video down, and re-post it after the war Take this video down, and repost it after the Russians are done slaughtering Ukrainians. After we have actually defeated them. Once the war is actually over. Stop acting like this is a f***ing video game, real people are dying right now

If Russia would take a step into Poland they would face within hours an army almost as big as Poland population. There is a reason why Polish people don't like foreigners. Don't forget the inner hate against Russia because of history that is in almost every Pole deep inside just waiting...To be honest we don't like/liked People from Ukraine either because of history but there is nothing we hate more than Russia because of its actions. I will tell you a secret: Russia has a population of 155 million people, an army of over 1.5 million and a military reserve of over 30 million. We Russians wouldn’t give a damn about the mood of the Poles, we wouldn’t take care of the civilian population of Poland, they are not brothers for us because Ukrainians, so if necessary, we would simply turn all the cities into ruins and destroy everything in our path, as this makes the US in Libya. We would not stand on ceremony and try to protect those who are opposed to us. If the Polish government did not evacuate civilians from the war zone or this civilian decided to fight - it will be destroyed from the air and wiped off the face of the earth if necessary. Therefore, let them pray to their masters across the ocean that this would not happen to them.

This scenario is inherently flawed, because it disregards logistics. Russian logistics in Ukraine are very bad, and that's with them having access to Ukraine from three sides and having direct access from Russia. Russian logistics in Poland would be abysmal. Remember the battle of Kyiv? Imagine that, but MUCH WORSE. I would be surprised if Russia could deploy half the troops they deployed against Ukraine. So from day one, they would be in a heavy numerical disadvantage. And that's day one. In a month, Belarussian railway network wouldn't be functional due to bombings, meaning all the Russian troops would have to retreat or get destroyed due to simply not having ammo, food, fuel and so on. And reinforcing Kaliningrad? Nope. You would have to be completely incompetent to do that. Which of course means Russia would probably do it, but it would only lead to much higher casualties on their part. Why? Because Kaliningrad cannot be supplied if Poland is willing to shoot to prevent that from happening. Every single ship they send will get sunk long before it reaches the port, with Russia not being able to do anything to prevent that. Meaning all the forces in Kaliningrad will be worse than useless a week from the beginning of the war. Attacking Poland would be even more of an embarassment to Russia than attacking Ukraine was. With Ukraine, Russia will just lose in a year or two and then retreat back to Russia. With Poland, Russia would lose in months and forever lose an important part of their territory.

This video is hideously inaccurate for many reasons: 1 - Mentioned NLAWs and Javelins being in greater number for Ukraine before war. Because they were DONATED right before it. Same would happen for Poland. 2 - Totally ignored that Belarus' logistics were screwed up, meaning relying ENTIRELY on them for 180k men would be a disaster. 3 - Somehow failed to realise that attacking into an encircled small point is a REALLY BAD IDEA for Russia when facing vastly better things like PGMs and modern MBTs. 4 - You really REALLY underestimate just how frenzied the Poles can get when it comes to this. There'd be millions of volunteers on day 1.

With five divisions and increasingly growing number of soldiers, Poland will have one of the most numerous armed forces in Europe. Additionally, with 3-4% GDP spend on military, with growing capabilities of Polish defence industry, with modernised air force of 48 F-16, 32 F-35, 48 FA-50PLs, I dare to say Poland will have the second most powerful army in Europe.

You may have missed how north-east part of Poland is fuuuuull of lakes - small ones, but hundreds of them. Advances from Kaliningrad (sorry, Kralovec ;) ) would be thus very, very limited. And from the eastern side - from Belarus - there is a lot of swamps, forests etc. So any infantry/mechanized movements would be easy to stall. Considering your scenario - such war would rather look like a war of who has more long-range missiles/better anti-air protection. Furthermore - while Ukraine had some problems with collaborants, in here - Polish langauge is soo different, that any saboteurs would be easy to find. About morale - we absolutely hate russists, so it is likely many orcs would be found dead after drinking poisoned vodka etc... Interesting thought-experiment as such, but it deserves much more aspects to consider :)

This scenario is very unrealistic. 1. Poland would not be attacked if Russia would not take Ukraine and the Baltics in the first place. 2. If Poland would be attacked, then Russia would have to fight with Ukraine at the same time (without Poland, Ukraine would be almost helpless). Belarus would risk attack from Ukraine and Baltics 3. There is no way to attack Poland without longer preparation which will be visible a long time before the attack. It would give Poland and NATO time to prepare. 4. Poland would have much bigger support from NATO including modern tanks, artillery, planes, etc. 5. NATO has very strong airpower so Poland would not only fight on its territory but also attack logistic lines (which are very long) in Belarus. I think that logistic lines and military airports in Belarus and Kaliningrad would be destroyed in the first weeks of the war. Sometime after the start of the war, it would be continued mostly on Belarus territory. The biggest risk would be for Belarus in this case, because it would be completely destroyed and Lukaszenka would lose his country. 6. In the end, there would be many casualties, the risk of nuclear war, Russia would risk losing Kaliningrad, and Lukaszenka would risk losing his country. 7. The conclusion: it is better not to even think about attacking Poland, there is no way that Russia and especially Belarus would have benefited from it, only loses.

Couple of points. Ukraine, when it was attacked by Russia was in an shooting war with the invader for 8 years. So the numbers of Poland vs Ukraine don't quite stack up. If Russia was attacking Poland for 8 years, you can bet their army would be bigger. Also... Poland would not stop at Russian borders... They would AGAIN go all the way to Moscow. Historically, Poland was the only nation that defeated and HELD (albeit only for 3 years) Moscow.

Let's compare Poland to Ukraine: - Poland has better, more advance NATO-standard equipment, Ukraine did not. - Poland has anti-missile defense such as Patriot - Poland has well trained and motivated troops from the get go. - Poland has NATO level command and communication systems - Poland has much stronger air force with F-16 - Poland would not let Russians in, but defend on the border - Polish commanders would not betray and let russians in like the south of Ukraine. - Polish border is full of forests, hard to pass by heavy equipment. - Krabs - Poland has NATO/US bases on its territory - NATO support would be quicker - Also and arsenal of Pioruns, which decimated russian air force is already present. This would be quick war resulting in total Russian defeat.

All the consideration, including those made in the video don't make any sense: - Russia has way more soldiers - way more weapon (one billion times more money being spent on it). Let's say tanks: Poland has 797, Russia had more than 13000. - easy-conquarable geography. Without nato, external help and nukes, only two countries may confront Russia: the USA and China. Albeit it seems difficult to imagine the states and NATO separatly, as well as to dig down into such unrealistic battles.
@MrJdsenior
@MrJdsenior Жыл бұрын
@@veirant5004 I know you negated NATO, but that wouldn't be the reality...so, yeah, NATO spends 15X what Russia does on defense. The US alone makes up 11:1 of that. And you want to talk numbers? The US has more Cobra helicopters, ONE TYPE, than Russia has of all types in total. And the US tech is FARRR more advanced. Russia can't even build a 150 mile range crapolla drone. Also China is not remotely as capable as the US. They are still trying to get to the point of being able to fight only in their little corner of the world, where the US smashed TWO enemies (with help on the European side) on opposite sides of the globe almost 100 years ago, simultaneously. Enter reality, dude. And Russia only spent 15X what UKRAINE spent, and they are a VERY poor country. Russia's GDP is nineteenth in the world, and about 1/14th of the US. Last, but not least, the Russian army has been DECIMATED, both in REAL soldiers, not drunken morons sent from tending bar, and weaponry. They are sending in tanks that go so slowly that they actually sped up the video so people wouldn't laugh, guns that are so damned rusty they would NEVER fire once, and a lot more truly laughable stuff. On one the slide would only go about 1/3 of the way back, so you couldn't even CHAMBER a round, let alone fire it. They have adapted naval missiles for land use, and their close in ammo depots seem to be going up like fireworks at Disney. When the dumbass Russians move them further back, I expect the US will just send in TACAMS (a next to the bottom weapon of that type) and end those as well. For the life of me, I don't know why we haven't sent in a couple of Tomahawks to end a span or two of that Russia to Crimea bridge...we would have if I'd had the call. They TRULY ARE, by every parameter that matters, the number two military in Ukraine, as Ukraine is taking back ground fast than the Russians have EVER taken it since about the end of the first month. And the first month they were facing unarmed babies and babushkas, mostly. Russia is a joke, plain and simple, just laughing stock, and I hope the Ukrainians kill every damned invading (and collaborating) Russian in Ukraine that doesn't run away and leave, which they are getting pretty good at, I must admit.

@@veirant5004 Russia only has stats on paper. Where are those 13k tanks? Useless junk. More soldiers? We have more potatoes on fields which have comparable military value to russian 'soldiers'. How did that quantity advantage work for them in Ukraine? More weapons? Are you talking about those missiles that fail 70% of the time and only 5 % reaches 1km within the vicinity of the target. Dream on. Throwing more stones or sticks won't give them an advantage. Geography isn't great but it's way more defendable than what Ukraine has and Russia failed there hard. Russia would fail hard against UK, France, Germany, Canada, Australia, Japan, Izrael, Saudi Arabia, India.

I know actual stories of Poles who were threaten with knife by Russians for accusing them of invasion and occupation of Poland. Russian see Poles as ungraceful traitors. Pretty good analysis but it's only based on numbers. You have to take into account the Polish attitude towards Russians. It should be remembered that even after February 24, despite the fact that Ukraine have an open war, Poland was the most Russia-hating society, i did not notice that anything changed in this matter. Additionally, despite the fact that Poles are an eternally struggling pile of chaos on a daily basis, they can embrace each other at the time of great events. So mobilization would probably be more effective in terms of quantity and speed. It is true that the effectiveness of those mobilized would be low due to unfamiliarity with weapons, but morale would rather not be a problem. And Poland has a long history of kicking the ass of Russians on the battlefield, they were the only ones who conquered the Russian capital and regularly massacred their army despite the significant advantage of Russians. I know it's an old story, but the Poles are so stubborn and resistant to change that there is a chance that they would succeed again.
