Nah NaruSaku wasn’t retconned lmao (I don’t know why the fandom has this headcannon) Kishimoto just hadn’t decided on NaruHina or NaruSaku until pain arc at the very latest according to an interview but there’s also another interview that states he decided on NaruHina from the very beginning. Basically much like you’re doing Kishimoto just put chemistry there incase he decided to go that route

Chiyo states that only tsunade was able to come up with Antidotes to her poisons in the war and Sasori’s poisons are even more complex than her as chiyo herself can’t even make an antidote for Kankuro. It takes someone of that skill level to counter even chiyo’s poisons and Sasori’s requires higher than even that, the only ones who could make an antidote for him at this point would’ve been Tsunade, Sakura (Main canon), Shizune, Sasori (Because he made it and even states that the antidote was complex meaning he himself made one), and maybe Orochimaru The poison had been in Kankuro’s system for almost 3 days by the time sakura arrived (According to Sasori he says kankuro only has 3 days) and the poison had been in his system for too long to where they couldn’t extract all of it and some of it remained which required an antidote to counter at that point If sakura had arrived earlier I might agree with you but at this point it’s been too long so Kankuro is dead

Also, I think u confused the my main point. The pairing doesn’t matter, but if they were to be paired, the amount of interactions and character growth would be almost night and day with original. Sasuke in this fanfic is almost identical to Kushina and seeing Naruto n Sasuke together would hit Jiraiya differently, making Naruto and Jiraiya’s relationship different. Naruto meeting Tsunade would be different with having more of an understanding due to learning more about Sasuke and understanding more about how grief affects people. Sasuke would be after Naruto to protect him from Itachi for a whole new reason, changing the foundation of how the curse mark would affect her emotions. Only thing stronger then an Uchiha’s hate is an Uchiha’s love. But these are all things that start from Wave that add up over time, not to to mention, once an Uchiha finds that one person, they don’t look anybody else in that way. We see examples of this with Sasuke and Sakura + Itachi n Izumi + Obito n Rin. Uchiha’s love and hate are what guide them fully, hence why when u skipped over all of the minor interactions that woulda did up and pay off massively later, I was a bit disappointed bcse u normally are great at those things

Don't forget Sasuke was going to one shot kill the new Team 7 with Kirin during the Tenchi Bridge Arc. The only reason he DIDN'T was because Orochimaru said they are needed to defeat more Akatsuki members

I think itachi actually had the trigger set on his eyes not Sasuke, i believe it’s because itachi always intended for his brother to get the ems with his eyes so by using his own eyes as the trigger would gairenty that it would hit Sasuke and unintentionally break him out of the edotense jutsu

I dont think I made the comment addressed at the beginning, but I had commented about Naruto and Sasuke being paired up in this series. Well, my bad. I sometimes forget clockwork does things differently from what one would think. And that's fine. I was really interested in the possible romance between the characters and blindly thought the what if would move in that direction. But that won't necessarily happen. With that said, I'm gonna continue watching the video now. Sorry.

Itachi put the crow in naruto when the crew was sent to look for sasuke it was never during KRA. After word of Orochimaru’s death spreads throughout the 5 nations a squad is put into place to look for Sasuke and I believe while Deidara and Sasuke are fighting Itachi encounters a clone and puts a crow into naruto then Also even going by your logic it’s still wrong as Itachi programmed it to activate upon seeing Itachi’s MS since he expected sasuke to transplant them for EMS meanwhile the Amaterasu was only set for Obito’s regular sharingan so if they had retrieved Sasuke before obito Kakashi most likely would’ve died this is why it didn’t activate during FKS This isn’t a plot hole you’re just remembering wrong
