When Shenron said to Goku about Gohan not liking fighting like Goku does, that was a nice reminder to Goku that even though he has a son, they might not have the same views on things for example liking of fighting, so Goku(in this what if story at least), has a chance of understanding Gohan's view on things and understanding his son more as his own person. Since its still early id like to throw ou a prediction. I believe cells penance to be more then a simple turned good scenario. What i believe is that since Shen Lang is not the guardian of earth it would be inconvenient at best to transform into Shenron when the dragon balls are needed. Masako has been very deliberate about the conection between the two, some of which i believe is going to set up his offer. Cell is going to be offered the roll of next Shenron, this way cell is punished and Lang doesnt have two responsibilities. Perhaps since Lang draws power from his Draconic form he'll be able to tap in to some of his powers... but hey, thats just a theory, A MASAKO X THEORY

Chiaotzu sounded like he was talking about himself like he was a Character from a Show...which is a bit the case. That aside, his frustration is understable. Thanks to all the craziness about the Saiyan and their infinite potential, as well the never-ending threat that keep attacking Earth, each of them stronger then the previous one, the Human are pretty much irelevant now, one of the bad thing about Dragon Ball today. Anyone who is not a Saiyan is generaly pushed aside. That's why i like What If better then Canon Story, because they treat the Z-Fighter with more love and respect then their Canon Counterparts.

I always thought it would be interesting if Cell broke his programming. He’s not a good guy but until he never seemed to have any free will before he became perfect and then he just set up a fun event. Even if he had won he would have been miserable no one in the universe comes close to the Z-Fighters so he would have been board for eternity or at least until he met Beerus then he wouldn’t have felt anything.

Cell is a villian who is but a mechanical side. It makes him dangerous and threatening but at the same time... He is a spoiled infant ironically. Having nothing that truely defines him as his own charater. Does something evil? Oh that's cause of my Freeza DNA and King Cold DNA and some of Vegeta when he was evil. Does something good ? Oh that's cause of Goku's DNA. But here's the thing.. DNA doesn't shape your personality. DNA just gives it a mold. Cell just cannot process growth since he was told "You will be too strong to be stopped." With lil knowing about someone like Beerus that can hold up 1 finger in a fight against Cell and smack him down. Any loss Cell had before going perfect? "I was just not perfect yet" This is why Shenron's offer after defeat is interresting. Cause Shenron wants Cell to learn from his Humility and go: "There is more for you to learn , to get stronger, go beyond perfect."

Oh boy Shenron is really upping the Earth's defenses and messing with Cell. I love it. Now can I make a suggestion? If this happens Shenron would be a Dragon among Dragons that would be approaching Super Shenron in terms of power. Speaking of divine powers and Dragons I have a few suggestions for the story. First off I would also love to see Shenron first develop all the techniques of the Shadow Dragons along with Kami's abilities as Guardian of the Earth and everything I asked for previously just to make him a literal Force of Nature. Second, Maybe Shenron also trains and gains the powers and techniques of the Lesser Kai's like King Kai, and also the Supreme Kai's just to be a better protector of Earth and also a more powerful warrior that the Earth Needs. Maybe that can happen before the Majin Buu Saga. Also if Shenron gets better training with more God Ki in Dragon Ball Super he would become a more Divine being than Kami when he had the Throne of Guardian of Earth. Third please let this story enter Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball Daima, and also take some elements of Dragon Ball GT and make Shenron face down the Shadow Dragon's. But as a downside he also faces down Shadow Dragons born from not only the Negative Energy of the Dragon Balls but also Shenron's human and God Ki and his Divine Dragon Powers and Guardian of Earth's Abilities. That would make the story be far more personal for Shenron as these are technically his children and maybe he tries to redeem some of them which can happen. This is also an example to the Z Fighters of what happens if the Dragon Balls and also Shenron himself is misused.

I like that Shenron talk to Goku about Gohan's problems with needless fights before it became a problem during the Cell Games like in canon. 🙂 Curious to see how the human Z-Fighters and Piccolo will factor in stopping Cell if Gohan's SSJ2 is still important. 🤔 A cool idea maybe after hearing about the Ancient Namekian Stories from Piccolo and/or Porunga, this leads to Gohan learning Ki Manipulation like Ki Swords starting out, and later shapes it into a "Beast Ax". 👀 Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.

Honestly i PRAY that Cell actually accepts Shenron'a offer. I always thought that out of the "big three" that he was the one tbat could most likely be easily redeemed. And it'd be cool to actually get Perfect Cell on the good guys side. As much as i love Android 21 and Female Cell. I just feel like their is a special charm to Perfect Cell as he was. That could shine so much brighter if he were around longer as a good guy. Much like what happened with Discord in MLP:FIM. He just has such a cocky yet reasonable and honorable Charisma that's like a more likeable and less problematic early Vegeta. And if this could be the first What-If where the normal Cell gets redeemed then that'd be AMAZING!~🤩

Massako, you should do a sort of “what if”. But essentially take the Dragon ball movies and craft a timeline telling what could happen between them, still keeping most canon events nearly the same, but changed so the movies happen. Though for Broly take some liberties that his Super origin is the same, but maybe he snd Paragus get off Vampa somehow and set in motion the rest of the OG Broly films. Maybe you guys could somehow even make a fan manga to fill in the gaps between films.

What if Mr Satan was a Z Fighter? What if DBZ Movies were Canon? What if Raditz turned Good? What if Nappa turned Good? What if Turles turned Good? What if Piccolo had a Son? From What if Frieza turned Good bring in Trojan, so that during resurrection F he, Frieza, Cooler & King Cold all get revived also have Broly be found early perhaps he gets to live on Earth?
