Even though it makes sense for Sonic to appear where Shadow does, would it make sense for Rouge to get him on board with the Team Dark thing? It worked with Shadow because, unlike Sonic, Rouge actually spent the entirety of SA2 working with Shadow, it gave them time to develop somewhat of a bond (more on Rouge's side but still), and it feels natural on Heroes because she actually grew found of Shadow. But in this timeline, Rouge has almost near to no clue on who tf Sonic is, it makes it feel like she is literally just using him for her own advantage (which if thats the case then I'm interested to see how you develop this on the other parts). Anyways I'm really liking where this is going, its pretty damn good.

Love it. Here are more ideas for what if. what if the original concepts of Sonic became canon. Ie Sonic in a band, sonic being a dream of a woman who lost her husband, sonic having a human gf. Various ideas scrapped in sonic extreme or bad endings of shadow the hedgehog, scrapped ideas of sonic boom where there is hedgehog and echidna rivalry with younger eggman who is sonics friend, shadow being his original concept kdes Terios and being edgier and darker and a true villain instead of antivillian

Sonic dying in SA2 kinda fits if you think about it. Considering the Dreamcast was the last SEGA console, imagine if SEGA never went third party but instead had SA2 actually be their swan song with Sonic actually dying. Honestly, it could be the same situation as megamind Eggman rejoices in the cruelty of sonic death, but it's likely that he'll feel emptiness and abandon his empire once he realizes he has no one to fight against. And rivals such as metal sonic and shadow will feel the emptiness as well. In the end, the fight between Sonic and Eggman is a cat-and-mouse fight with a serious background.If they don't have Eggman's world domination plan or a letter of intent, they will take a commemorative photo on the podium and have a silly conversation. The best proof is that there are occasional cases where it is suggested that they are sent in official videos and they spend their daily lives together. they are twisted frenemy right

I honestly really like the concept of this what if. The idea of sonic being dead in the main timeline and everyone having to move forward from it is always interesting to me. My personal favorite is Sega scourge but yours is great to. My only real issue was that I’m pretty sure Amy would still be a part of heroes plot, because metal sonic was dressing up as sonic and was caught on a newspaper.

I would like to add something interesting , an after-game , if I may? Fang , Bean , and Mighty are together as Team Blast(the inventors of the technique). So Metal would want to succeed where Eggman first failed , correct? This is set between Mania and SA1 , with the real Eggman's challenge. Mighty getting into lots of fights from an early age makes sense. So being on a bounty hunting team wouldn't be much of a stretch , nice or not. He tries to do wright whenever he can. Plus Bark never made sense to me. His criminal past includes punching Sonic because he was annoying , that's it. Bark also wouldn't last long around Bean. And Fang is still after Eggman for the money Eggman owes him. He was solo at the time , taught Eggman how to catch Flickies. Eggman didn't pay up , so he hunted him to the Death Egg and took revenge. That's how it went down the first time. Eggman fell from the sky with Sonic on his tail , there were few options. He had Fang doing bodywork for Badniks on Angel Island. Explaining the change in style , and why Mecha Sonic looks like Fang's ride. He was promised the Master Emerald as payment , but you know how that went. And when Fang took it down the second time , he developed a grudge. And as for Bean's motive , simply put. Big robot make big splodey.

My Own What If Sonic Idea: What If Sonic The Hedgehog Died in Sonic Forces How It will play out: Same thing from when Sonic almost died from Infinite but Infinite and his Phantom Clones of Shadow, Zavok, Metal Sonic and Chaos still continues to beat him up and Infinite continues to beat him up more after that even after Sonic is knocked out cold. Sonic had died for real forever Infinite wanted to go after Tails but Eggman said to fall back and There was no point of killing him Infinite went and cornered and trapped Tails his last words before kicking Tails so hard He just passed out cold for 2 minutes was: "Don't even try to win You have already lost GAME OVER!."

Boring answer but not sure. From the classics I can tell you I enjoy Sonic 3&K a lot, but I also enjoy the full version of Sonic The Fighters. For other Sonic Games, I enjoy so many of the games before 2012, but Sonic Adventure 2 is up there for sure.

If Sonic died, he would've been the True Hero he's always been. If there's one angle I liked from the 2000's era, it was his personality. Deep down, the guy had an understanding of how people were feeling and knew a situation was dire, he just liked to play it off as nothing as dire, whether it was to make someone who's down feel better, lighten the mood or making everyone not panic.

I am rather confused as to how Sonic ended up getting revived, in this rewrite. He wasn't Gerald's creation, so how would Robotnik be able to revive or recreate him, without a basis for recreation? Especially with all of Sonic's abilities and personality fully intact, in the case that he was actually an android? And why? Shadow made sense, as despite turning on him, Shadow still helped him with his plans for global domination, unlike Sonic. Also, aside from your Robotnik voice, I'm not at all a fan of the voices you did for all of the characters here. This all being said, though, I am genuinely intrigued by the majority of your take on this.

Eggman did not need to recreate Shadow, he just helped him heal and saved him from crashing into Earth. Why would he do the same for Sonic? He has plans for everyone. As for the Voices, this is a 1 man production with 0 budget and I am not a full time voice actor, so it really is either I try or everything get's read out in monotone.

Eggman did not explicitly say that for a start, secondly he does want to continue working with Shadow. Eggman is not aware of how much Shadow's prospective has changed after recovering his memories.
