Most likely. Even tho Spain and Italy r united, this would probably wouldn’t stop them from losing their American holdings completely Altho I do think that the war would drag out for a bit longer than in our own timeline

I think the Italians would have given more importance to Isaac Peral new military weapon invention: the submarine. Thus they would destroy easily the American armada in Cuba and keep its supremacy in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean
