I’m thinking the reason he sided with Cap in it could be because in that universe Peter hated Tony because either Uncle Ben or someone else who was close to Peter died because or Iron Man. Like maybe Peter, Ben, and May were in New York during the invasion in 2012 and Iron Man shot down a Chitari ship and it crashed into Ben or May and killed them. Then maybe during Civil War Tony threatens to have Peter arrested if he doesn’t join him (similar to your What if Spider-Man was on Cap’s side in Civil War video) so Peter reluctantly agrees, but then switches to Steve’s side during the airport battle. Or maybe Tony doesn’t threaten him, but Peter only joins him so he can get revenge on Tony easier.

Hey, a little idea. Today at highschool we studied a little bit about Alfred Novel. We saw how he invented dinamite and all that stuff. But I found something interesting about him. He and his coworkers also made weapons, guns, misiles and all that stuff because of the war. Do you know how did they call him? THE MERCHANT OF DEATH! Just as Tony Stark. And he also didnt like it and changed it completely. Of courso, in a different way, he didnt make a suit but... I think Tony Stark may be partially based on him.
