I really miss the old Chi-Chi, I feel like Bulma kept her fundamental nature growing up while Chi-Chi for some reason became radically different and turned into a weird premature matron. I’d love to see her let her hair down again, she’s actually beautiful when it’s not in that unattractive grandmother bun she’s had for forever. Bring back that fighting spirit she used to have and she’d probably connect with Goku the way they used to.

If this actually becomes cannon, Toriyama will have do a LOT of explaining. Goten, Kid Trunks, Caulifla and Kale are getting wild powerups with no context. I wouldn't be suprised if Bulma gets a beast form as well.

Who says she had to unlock it? Besides she doesn't especially like fighting, only doing it to get Goku to notice her. Her base level is also way too low so even if she used Beast it would only bring her up to Recoome level, which by Dragon Ball Super Super Hero, which is still insignificant.
