Yooo, each starter being 4x super effective on the other is such a cool way to balance the typings. Also Boareal is an amazing pun and an amazing design. Never liked Emboar, but now I kinda do. This whole concept is so incredible, can’t wait for Kalos and then my favorite, Alola! Also it would be so cool if they had signature moves (or just new moves) that work with their hidden abilities. So a Ground Type move that works with Contrary for Serperish, Ice/Fairy Type move for Reckless on Boareal, and a Steel/Electric move for Sharpness on Solderott.

same. Tepig is actually my favorite starter, but I really dont like pignite and I hate emboar...so i definitely prefer these two. Wish there had been a few more changes to borreal but i understand its a typeswap and therefore still has to look like emboar and not like a whole new pokemon. The aurora flame is really pretty though

Like it's a shame the Hisui's starters didn't get ALL their stages with the new type as well, like Dark Type Oshawott or Fighting Type Rowlett or Ghost type Cyndaquill.

I like The Fripig Line. Here's some Ideas: What if Pokemon were in One Piece?, Fusing The Starter Pokemon Together, or The Kalos Starters as a Different Type like: Froakie as a Fairy Type, Fennekin as a Steel Type, & Chespin as a Electric Type.

I have one too: A Sableye of every type (based on gems they eat): for example, Bug Sableye could be the result of a Sableye eating an Amber, Steel Sableye could be the result of a Sableye eating either Bismuth or Pyrite, & Fire Sableye could be the result of a Sableye eating either Sunstone or any type of Obsidian (since it's made in volcanoes).

It would be nice to just have maybe one game were they just try starters with different types then just (fire, water and grass) I understand why those are used as they are basically rock, paper , scissors and there aren't many types that work in that same way but be nice to just try something different
