To summon him you have to not want to die, you have to not accept the out come of the battle, you gotta wish you were able to adapt and survive, then Big Raga will keep that desire and fully realize it. Allowing him to adapt to any phenomenon until your nen runs out or until he’s defeated. We’ve seen an immortal cat be summoned with Nen, so why not a human that can adapt.

@@The1trueLeo I like that idea. The difference with the cat is that it’s a nen beast that is always active, it just doesn’t use its ability until the host is murdered. Maybe for mahoraga we can do everything you said but make it to where you have to desire that 1 nen ability can’t kill you anymore. That way when you revive you basically can’t lose a 1v1 ever again. Unless you’re fighting someone that can use 2 abilities at once like chrollo. Not even people with multiple abilities can kill you unless they can use them simultaneously🤷🏽‍♂️

@@KitePlanet as well as having to do the same steps as before, doing the hand sign and the shadow thingy. So you have to be prepared to die but still not want to, the desire to adapt will be transferred to the shadow, basically with the mental link of “I need to live” so the nen beast will try to make sure they survive, and the command word “adapt”

Mahoraga could likely work based on some conditions if we’re taking into account the adaptation just like a specialist ability 1. After a certain amount of nen beasts have been defeated, specifically if summons have a point to them for example (“Weaker” summons grant 1 or 2 points while the “Strongest” summons grant 3-5 points, and the required amount of points is 10) 2. The adaptation comes specifically from how much you understand someone’s ability 3. Make a condition for Moharaga to only be used once per person, if they are to survive and/or win the nen beast will not come out 4. Cannot be used in Chimera Shadow Garden That’s what I thought of off the dome, also, as someone with glasses they come on after the shirt

@@Fearz792 that’s a solid idea. It kinda works like rihan’s ability where he creates the predator to hunt nen beasts based on how much he learned about them. And I didn’t even think about taking off the glasses first😂

@@Fearz792 does this mean the wielder of this hatsu would need to be like kurapika and turn into a specialist to use mahoraga. If that were the case it could manifest mahoraga completely. Or we could figure out a way to incorporate the handle. Like if you land 8 critical hits, along with learning some about the ability then the conditions are met to summon mahoraga. And mahoraga cannot die unless he is hit with 2 different hatsu simultaneously. Something busted like that😂

@@KitePlanet Thinking about it and trying to stick to what JJK established, I was thinking Mahoraga would be the specialist, a psuedo nen user if you will. Maybe it would make more sense if the user turns into a specialist like you mentioned. As for the handle idek how that’d work unless you’re trying to fight 8 or so people, maybe you have to use and land one clean attack from each summon or the summon must be defeated by an opponent’s ability. What if you can only use Moharaga against multiple people as a condition and it must be hit with 2 abilities like you said. Also a side note I forgot Rihan even existed I was thinking of Chrollo for the ability

Mahoraga made from scratch is impossible in my eyes. However given how in universe the ten shadows user is revered as the strongest zenin because they have mahoraga at their disposal (if they tame it of course) I propose that Mahoraga in Hunter x Hunter could work as a sort post-mortem nen beast. It would be created by the first zenin and then it has been passed down through generations, not necessarily by pure lineage but by doing a ritual that serves as a test and as a process to tame Mahoraga. Whoever manages to succeed in the ritual becomes the next head of the Zenin clan and has Mahoraga at their disposal. If they don't succeed they die.

@KitePlanet yeah I'd put that as a condition. Especially considering that the Zenins are obsessed with keeping the family legacy and their strength. What I meant that the condition to get obtain Mahoraga didn't depend purely on lineage is that it doesn't matter what branch of the family you are, you can have a chance at taming Mahoraga as long as you're willing to put your life on the line. In this scenario Naoya has as much of a chance to be head of the family as Megumi. So does Maki and Mai but I imagine that the other clan members wouldn't allow them to try the ritual. Whoever gets Mahoraga is the undisputed head of the family

I don’t feel anyone else is strong enough to take mahoraga. We’ll need to add the condition that after beating mahoraga, you’ll have to kill the current clan leader in order to officially claim mahoraga

yeah, the use of post-mortem nen beasts would be the most accurate way to implement 10st in HxH imo. Also, using just Emision and Manipulation would not explain how the Shikigamis would use supernatural abilities like lightning (Nue) or healing (Round Deer). This Hatsu would require the original zenin ancestor doing some weird shit for the clan's sake, and one of the restrictions would be that the descendant needs to defeat the nen beast in a ritual, like the original 10st

@txibiam6117 manipulation could work with elemental shikigamis like nue and the elephant but instead of generating the element themselves like they do jjk they would need to use the element found naturally in the environment. This would make them more situational (especially Nue since you would need a place with high voltage to make its ability useful) but it could work. The other ones seen like the deer that heals and the tackling bull could simply be applications of enhancement with the deer enhancing healing and the bull enhancing the strength of its tackle the more it runs. Otherwise the only way to make the 10 shadows hatsu as it is would be to make it a specialist ability, I say this in light of the new info about specialists in chapter 408.

You would probably need some "external storage" mechanism like Chrollos Book to not overload your memory. Castro overloaded his by just creating 1 "nen beast". We want to make 10 haha. Maybe the Shadow storage dimension or the cursed tools stored within (in this case maybe conjured tools?) could be used for that purpose?

@@_-_sinexus_-_ the thing is, they aren’t nen beasts. They have no will of their own, let alone a form. You have to control them, that is why they are still attached to your shadow. And then you give them a command and it turns into an emission attack. All nen beasts we’ve seen in the story have a form or shape, even if it’s inside a “container”. The nen shadows are just aura that is being controlled mentally, and it takes a specific shape. They are created anew with every single use of the ability since they aren’t actually nen beasts For reference you could watch my Baki nen ability video and picture that but without the characteristic that belong to each animal In all honesty, this ability I created is only partly finished. I wanted to assign a specific function to each shadow for a part 2 video, I think that would clear all this up.

The "each attack is "pre-programmed" and they disappear after each attack" part of your angle of recreating this technique defintly brings down the complexity and therefore mental strain a lot. I was coming at this problem with the mindset that the "nen beasts" would be either manually contolled, semi-autonomous or fully autonomous and would remain on the battlefield even after performing an attack, unless specifically unsummoned, like in JJK (or like Blinky for a HxH example).

Since it became an emission blast the moment it was given a command it basically turns into an attack similar to razors when he blew up the ship on greed island. The only difference is it’s shaped like an animal and is following a single order. We could go the extra step and say it moves exactly like the animal would, but you might have already assumed that part

The ability, and how it’s described, sounds more similar to conjuration than emission. Emitted nen beasts do exist but they require transmutation to take shape and they do not possess their own abilities, but rather act as extensions of the user (think knuckle and goreinu) So if I were to systematize it, it would be transmutation to shape the shikigami and then conjuration to create them. As for the shadow pocket dimension and domain, conjured nen spaces do exist and function somewhat like domains

@@mimikyuliker946 conjured beasts possess innate abilities like crazy slots, APR, and also blinky so it cannot be conjuration. It also cannot be conjuration bc that requires the aura to take a physical form which doesn’t happen for this ability I created, it’s just pure aura. It isn’t transmutation either bc I’m not changing the quality or nature of the aura whatsoever. You can mold your nen into any shape you want without it needing to be one of the affinities, we’ve seen it a few times. In the recent chapter you see longhi shape her nen into the shape of a pen and paper and she is a manipulator. This ability is similar to that except it requires precise control to move it around. Also, it’s possible to use transmutation in an emission ability, just like Zeno. He’s an emitter but changes the shape of is aura to look like a dragon and control it while it still attached to his body, like when he fought chrollo.

@@KitePlanet shaping aura into simple shapes like longhi does is a very low level application of transmutation, so it doesn’t really matter that she’s a manipulator. The nen shadows as I understand them are nen beasts, which inherently require transmutation or conjuration to make them.

Transmutation is not required to create Nen Beasts as far as I know. Nen Beasts can be made from either Conjuration (self explanetory) or Emission + Manipulation (Separating a part of your Aura with Emission, then shaping it into a creature by using Manipulation). Both can have "special abilities" as seen by the examples of Shizuku who does the former and Knuckle who does the latter. For how this would affect recreating the 10 Shadows technique: Using Conjuration would mean "half summoning" the creatures like Sukuna did would become difficult and would mean complicating the technique further and you would still have to tap into Manipulation to "manually" controll the Shadows, as Megumi/ Sukuna clearly can, since Castro had to use Manipulation to controll his Clone which would be inefficient and would therefore require more restrictions. Using Emission + Manipulation on the other hand would mean having to use Transmutation to create effects like Nue's Lightning and Max Elefants Water which would also be inefficient and would require restrictions to make it work. Both can theoretically be done; both Methods have up and downsides to them :)

I’m thinking more conjuration/transmutation with a mix of manipulation. His shadow is his transmutation portion and conjuration is used to manifest and give the beasts shape and abilities. The restriction in exchange for the beats having an ability is they have to be beaten and sign a contract to obey the summoner.

@@JoseReyes-jo7tc the aura doesn’t take on the properties of a shadow. It just changes color, black is his auras natural color like gon’s is orange and Neteros is golden. And you don’t need to be a transmuter to manipulate your aura into a certain shape, with enough control of aura you can make any shape with your aura without it being a hatsu.
