My opinion on the mech gods Shaarj: impossible Saron: actually impossible Zoth: literally impossible Thun: way to easy can literally be done turn 6

Mech-Saron is straight ahead unplayable. Mecha'Zoth could work with Adaptive Amalgam dying and recruiting itself shenanigans. Mecha'thun may be playable for a rogue with stealth and discounting cards. Mech'Shaarj seems broken, you can just cheat it to out to 0 mana with part scrappers, buff it for at least 1 health and playing bouncing blade on board with only Mech'Shaarj.

Mech'Shaarj will need to survive to trigger its effect though, so you'd also need another minion with less Health than Mech'Shaarj on the board.

@@최주영-p1h I'm pretty sure it's worded correctly. The card says "After this survives damage 10 times..." which means that whatever is damaging him needs to finish before he can trigger his effect, and if he doesn't survive that damage the effect won't trigger. Had it said "Whenever this survives damage 10 times..." then it would have triggered immediately.

well I am a little bit disapointed since when I heared there will be 4 "win the game" cards I hoped they will well made and competetive insted they are just useless (yes yes players would find otk for eatch one of them I know)

i mean the Warrior one is playable. because its relativ easy to hit him 10 times. When you know how its possible in the same turn or he must survive one turn. Thats absolut easy with win them. Than not to forgott what you think? "Playable" i mean thats cards you win the game when it gos. Did you think 1 mana battlecry and thats it? Thats unlogic. This cards are in some way realistic.

@@Sorra1-Mods ok warior one can played if you are able yo spend around 20 mama in one turn (jokes a side he is the best of them but still sucks) tbh make it battlecries and make it count even if they are not alive in case of yogg and the type one in case of warior one I would go with something that is not "win the game" but some advatage for example 9 mana 5/5 every time it takes dmg summon random minion from your deck or if you want make him win the game make him gain stats for each time friendly minion took dmg while the old god is in deck/hand and have charge and mecha'thun the og one is enought for me

@@zakmaklak its much easier. You can recrut him from the deck. many cards like that exist. That like in the video you need somthing with 10 or higher health. than the card in video and you had 10dmg in one turn. to recrute it many things are possible. when you had a deathrattle ok. than the enmy summons in his turn but with luck he cant do something agains it. That mean in the next turn you had 6-10 mana. (depent what minion you use to recrute him). or a special summon from hand with spells. Also it exist ways you can summon him for sure in a not complicate way with 6-7 mana. Than you had 3 mana left. Depent what the enemy had on board is that near enough. In short the wariior one is a very easy one. In some way the easiest "win the game" card. ok second because the easiest is the paladin hero

I acctually analized is it "that easy" ye you can do it for 5 mana if enemy bord is empty but I don't think it helps much since empty enemy board is big requrement and suprice suprice it would be easier for warior to do simple mecha'thun otk (if card is much wore then it's other version from years ago it means it simply sucks) tbh curent hs is so busted in order for him 2 work he should be 1/10 take max 1 dmg and kill enemy hero on dethrattle this way he would not be countered by half of hs spells (so you can use more then one turn 2 use his wincon) bcs posible otk to do with him are almost imposible (as I said I found one but empty enemy board needed) 2. mecha'thun had otk in every class (some of them were actual competetetive decks), four 6/6 horsmens are also not that hard of the wincon well made deck , priest shard is not hard to cheat from deck, let's face it he would not be second the easiest he would be the hardest one (excluding other ones from this video since as I said they all suck suprisingly mechathun 2.0 being the most powerfull since cheating him would not be that hard)

@@zakmaklak you missunderstand. I never say another "win" is easier or not. If mecha cthun is easier or not is here not importand. Because we talked about the warrior card. I mean overall than play a pirat deck and you will win faster as with this god cards. Yes in that video that combo only worked with enemy empty board. What is rare. But other combos also exist. I mean look into the combo in what the wario can get 1000+ atk. Only in that case you didnt must pay onyx before (i think he called that the armor = atk minion). I mean i say that card is the easiest one here in that video. mechacthun can be easy also. also the original one. But in some way i see this card easier as mechacthun. And the paladin heropower one as the easiest instand win thing I didnt mean anything here bad and i didnt say you are not right. I say here my way to see the things. I mean logical mechachtun original had in every class a way. But he also exist longer. And the warrior crd is than logical only a win in warrior. because its a warrior card.

Yashaarj seems a bit powerful, having another minion is unnecessary because when damaged/survives damage effects ticks each individual time it is damaged. So handbuff him, play two galvanizers (the 2 mana 1/2 that reduces all mech's cost in hand by one in case thats the wrong name) then by turn 10 play the handbuffed Ya'Shaarj then bladestorm, it will go damage, tick, damage, tick, so on until the 10th damage, where it will tick again and therefore activate its effect, winning the game before bladestorm gets to continue. I dom't think its that powerful honestly cause it requires your opponent to just not play a minion for some reason to work (or a REALLY big one but still) just saying how it would likely work if plopped into today's game by the hearthstone team as the text reads

It really shouldn't because it has the effect "AFTER this SURVIVES damage..." not "Whenever", so in theory it should only trigger once the spell has finished casting, but another viewer brought up Rotface, which has the exact same text but triggers from each individual trigger of a Bladestorm. So this means that either you (and other commenters) are right, and it SHOULD work like Rotface, and other similar cards, and trigger from a Bladestorm alone, or that Rotface and those other cards really should've had the text "Whenever" and that Blizzard are inconsistent with their card texts, which we know to be true. All modern cards have stopped saying "After this survives damage", probably because of cards like Bladestorm. I don't know what to say. It SHOULD work as in the video due to the key-words "After" and "survives", but there is precedent in the game for it not working like that. Any other wording seems nonsensical.

Yshaarj and Mech-Zoth are definitely doable, but Mecha C'thun 2.0 and Mech-Saron require too much setup. Especially Mech-Saron!

In Shaman you could use double ancestor’s call to summon Mecha’thun and a Whirlwind Tempest, with your 2 mana leftover you give Mecha’thun windfury, make sure to use the destroy board last, easy peasy

why are you using mechanics from the previous sets when this is the middle set of a year?

I haven't been super clear about this, but when I started with the GvG Mini-Set I decided that would be the starting point for this format. So if this were to release to actual Hearthstone, GvG would re-release to Standard as the first expansion of the year, with a similar yearly cycle of 3 expansions, and that way this one would end up being being the 3rd set of its year.

@@vGhost01 Well, the 3 expansion cycle we're currently following didn't start until 2017 with Un'Goro; before that it was more random with Adventures in-between them. So if I were to stay loyal to this "callback of Year X", I couldn't do that until Kobolds & Catacombs, which is both a shame because it means I would have to skip out on cool designs earlier on in the series, and also could be confusing to suddenly introduce this concept on the 7th episode. Besides, since the cards would release to Standard today, the expansion cycle would start anew with this series, so this wouldn't be a callback to Year of the Raven, but rather a callback to Year of the Whatever-these-new-ones-would-be-called (which would also include new Death Knight and Demon Hunter cards, as can be seen in another of my videos).
