I get many people are saying TCM should have flown away as well in the original. but the jet pack TCM uses utilizes wings for better air control, and need to be deployed which takes time. this means deploying the wings, would leave him wide open for the trap and defenceless. now in ep 57, TCM did use the jetpack without the wings but it was only for hovering as the wings were then deployed when charging at infected TSM
