Really points out the fragility of the balancing act that allows for long term stability of life flourishing attributes. At least attributes our form of life requires. I'm sure there is tons of other forms of life through out the universe that have developed to be much more hardy and adaptable then us.

The moon also maintains the 23% axial tilt which (for 1 thing) controls our seasons. The wobble resulting wobble of Earth would be catastophic!

If we would add thrusters to the ISS it might be possible to land the ISS on the moon carefully. Instead of crashing it uncontrolled.
@josephjefferson26092 жыл бұрын
Great idea, but the ISS is to big. If one thruster failed it would rip it apart. Maybe land it on the moon in sections. One on the moon the low gravity would make it easier to put back together

Boomers might recal a British science fiction series of the mid-1970’s called ‘Space:1999’; the Moon is forced out of orbit due to magnetic radiation from nuclear waste dumps - implausible, but interesting

In reality moon is drifting away from Earth. It is slowly leaving out planet's orbit.
@Kevin-zz9du2 жыл бұрын
in 1 Billion years, it'd still only move 22,100 miles further away from us lol the moon is currently 238,900 miles away from us.

The reason they get less views is that they talk useless things for in 3/4 video and explain the title meaning at last. Tactic to get more watch time but we are not fools.

Variable photon magnetic resonance, describes the luna moon cycle and the magnetic relationship - it’s not just gravity relationship with earth, but a magnetic relationship? Or even another force un described, not coined. Surely they have scientific sensors to measure this? It’s the reason why the ecology on earth was much larger 200M+ years ago when it was roughly 110,000km closer. It’s also the reason why there was a supercontinent on earth when the magnetic relationship was stronger and more concentrated causing the land mass on earth to be in one place due to the force of the magnetic resonance millions of years ago when the moon was much closer as we know it came out of the earths core in the beginning of this galaxy due to nuclear testing. If it’s not magnetic relationship then it’s a uncoined force that hasn’t been described?

Earth and Moon repel each other due to negative surface charge while gravity attracts, this creates a balance keeping Moon in stable orbit. If the Moon gains or loses significant negative charge on its surface, its orbit will change. If Moon gains enough negative surface charge, Earth might repel Moon enough to knock it out of orbit. Another alternative hypothesis.
@justaguy94512 жыл бұрын
seriously? negative surface charge cause earth and moon to repel each other?? A simple Google search will confirm that this is nonsense.

At 17 minutes, Gerald talks about earths negative surface charge in Gerald Pollack: Beyond Water -- What Makes the World Go Round? | EU2015 video.
@justaguy94512 жыл бұрын
@ electromagnetism plays no part in the dynamics of celestial bodies. Only gravity. Negative surface charges may exist but do not cause celestial bodies to 'repel' eachother. KZbin isn't a reliable citation to back up this assertion.
